About the site
Private meadow, situated directly on a beautiful hiking trail, amidst the stunning Hunsrück countryside on the edge of town. The popular Moselle towns of Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach are only 10 km away. Easily accessible on foot via a pleasant hike. Our property belongs to an old farmhouse that we are currently renovating. Access is only possible via an unpaved road. Barbecues and campfires are permitted. Currently, there is no electricity, water, or sanitation available – vehicles must be self-sufficient. Our 12 hardworking free-range hens will gladly lay you some extra breakfast eggs 😉. A superb spot on the meadow at the edge of a field. Very quiet, and a friendly host. Access is via a paved meadow path, but it's also doable without four-wheel drive. Thank you very much. We'd love to come back.

We were welcomed by Kerstin and Andre, and we've never been so warmly received as by them. Over a glass of beer, we learned a lot about the farm and their plans. The pitch, with its unobstructed view of the surrounding fields, is stunning and extremely quiet. A place to unwind and relax. The adjacent hiking trail is perfect for walks.
