About the site
The pitches are on sunny terrain. The site is fenced with a sandstone wall and the property can be locked. It is located in a turning circle, in a quiet area. We are at the gates of Speyer. By bike you can be in the city center in about 30 minutes. By bike you can take the Brühl ferry to Baden-Württemberg, then Heidelberg is not far. Bus and train connections are also available. There are many bathing lakes around Otterstadt, the old Rhine arms, which invite you to paddle, swim, row and surf. There is a dog beach. Dog owners are welcome, there are many beautiful walking paths around Otterstadt. For your physical well-being you can shop in the nearby supermarket, about 100 m away.

Wir waren für eine Nacht auf dem Stellplatz. Gut ist die Größe und dass das Geländer rundum geschlossen ist, so konnten wir unseren Hund auch problemlos rumlaufen lassen. Der nahestehende Netto hat uns beim Grill anheizen sehr geholfen. :-) Nicht so gut waren teilweise Verunreinigungen auf dem Stellplatz, deshalb ein Stern Abzug. Wer einen geräumige Stellplatz für kurze Zeit sucht, ist genau richtig. Für einen Aufenthalt mit Ambiente und Charme würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

Alles gut geklappt. Großer Platz und mit guter Anbindung. Gleich daneben zu Fuß Netto und ein paar Meter weiter kleines Café mit Eisautomat falls man Abends noch Lust auf ein Eis hat 😉.
