We offer a site for campers on historic grounds, between forest and river, below a castle ruin and an adjacent historic farm. In the morning, you might find a horse, donkey or goat standing in front of your tent to greet you. At night the owls call to go to sleep. If you love pure nature, you've come to the right place, as the place is surrounded by lots of nature/forest. The meadow extends from the parking lot about 1 km to the forest. A small bridge from the B463 leads directly to the private property. -Water can be fetched from the Nagold River, which flows through our property, or directly from the farm. -Dining room with table football, various toys for children, and various books for borrowing (opening hours: 10 a.m.–9 p.m.) -Hot drinks, cold drinks, ice cream and eggs (while stocks last) are also available. -Trash cans available. - Grill available upon request. (Open fires are permitted seasonally due to fire hazards; alternatively, a fire barrel is available.) Firewood would have to be brought along or collected in the area. !!!The additional services offered, as well as the toilet, are in the adjacent historic courtyard!!! Shopping facilities, as well as bakeries, cafés and restaurants can be found in the nearby towns of Calw and Wildberg (each a 4-minute drive away). You can purchase our own chicken and duck eggs from us. (While supplies last) -The Nagold River flows through our property and invites you to cool off on hot days. -The meadow is located directly below the Waldeck castle ruins (about a 7-minute walk away). -Several sandstone rocks also emerge from the mountain, which are ideal for bouldering. -Furthermore, with a 4-minute drive you can reach the birthplace of Hermann Hesse in Calw. -The Shepherd's Run town of Wildberg can also be reached in 4 minutes. -In the immediate vicinity is the Xanderklinge, which impresses with its small waterfalls. -A visit to the silver mine in Neubulach is also always worthwhile. -Or a visit to the old town in Hirsau. -As well as the castle ruins in Bad Teinach/ Zavelstein. -Along the edge of the property there is a hiking and cycling path, which provides quick access to the adjacent train station in Bad Teinach (30-45 minutes walk). -There is a thermal bath in Bad Teinach.
