About the site
We live in an idyllic location in a 12-house suburb of Steyerberg, surrounded by meadows, forests, and fields. Ideal for people with small children. Dogs and your own horses are welcome. Most of our animals are friendly and almost all of them enjoy being petted. You will find horses and dogs on our farm. Would you or your children like to interact with our animals? You are welcome to help with the care and maintenance of our animals. Learn about their behavior, characteristics, breeds, and anything else you might like to know about our animals. We will always do our best to answer your questions. The pitch is located directly next to the horse paddock on a grassy path. This can be seen in the photo above right. Service: -Electricity and water, as well as wastewater (NO CHEMICAL USE), are not a problem. -Sewage can be disposed of in the village approximately 5.5 km away for a fee. -Our property is under video surveillance! (Recordings are automatically saved for up to 7 days.) -You are welcome to use our grill and garden furniture by arrangement. -A patio heater or fire pit/fireplace is also available. Shopping: approx. 7km Bakery: approx. 5km Swimming pools: Steyerberg outdoor pool (approx. 7km) Stolzenau outdoor pool (approx. 8km) Uchte outdoor pool (approx. 12km) Liebenau indoor pool (approx. 12km) Nienburg leisure pool (approx. 25km) For the little ones: A trampoline can be used at your own risk. For dog lovers: Just 50m from the county road, a dirt road invites you to take leisurely strolls through fields, forests, and meadows. Just 7km away, there is a gravel pit lake where dog owners can also swim with their dogs. There are also great opportunities to bring your dog (see attractions. See numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 16, 17, and 20). For horse lovers and carriage drivers There's also something for horse lovers here. If you bring your own horse, we offer a fenced meadow and a paddock (with an electric wire). There is no stabling available for your stay (except for one pony). You are welcome to bring a pasture tent for shelter. We provide pellets for food. Hay is also available. Just like with dogs, there are almost no limits to the riding/driving options after 50 meters of the road. If you cross a few roads, you can even ride/drive all the way to the Kirchdorf Heath. Special riding/driving trails have been created in the Kirchdorf Heath. There is a cross-country course with natural obstacles at an E/A level. There is a restaurant directly adjacent to the heath. Not only are horses welcome here and can be "parked," but while you enjoy a meal, your horses will also be provided with fresh water and feed (upon request). Horse lovers can rent a carriage or cart with a driver and tour the heath from there. Various excursions and sightseeing opportunities include: 1. The historic Meyersiek Watermill in Steyerberg (approx. 6km) 2. The Steyerberg Amtshof (approx. 6km) 3. Steyerberg Fairytale Forest (approx. 7km) 4. Boat tour on the Große Aue from Steyerberg (approx. 6km if you have your own boat; otherwise, a one-person kayak can be rented for a fee) 5. Boat tour for up to 4 people on the Weser River with a motorboat (approx. 12km, request when booking your pitch. Assistance with loading and unloading the trailer is requested.) 6. Wedding Mill in Landesbergen (approx. 12km) 7. Tiedemann's carriage and covered wagon rides through moors, heathland, asparagus fields, and blueberry plantations in Uchte (approx. 12km, request when booking your pitch) 8. Kirchdorf Heath (approx. 12km, particularly beautiful in the August-September) 9. Thiermann Asparagus Farm in Kirchdorf (approx. 18 km, plentiful asparagus feast in March/April) 10. Ströhn Animal Park with Arabian Stud Farm in Ströhn (approx. 24 km) 11. Ströhn Moor Railway in Ströhn (approx. 26 km) 12. Gernheim Glassworks in Ovenstädt (approx. 16 km) 13. We ask for mutual consideration. Although we live in the countryside, there are still neighbors. Since we have a great relationship with our neighbors and want to maintain this, NIGHTTIME QUIETNESS from 10 p.m., if you arrive later, you must immediately quiet down. until 7 a.m. CLEANLINESS Please leave the place as you found it: Therefore, garbage must be disposed of SEPARATELY, the fire pit and grill must be cleaned, garden furniture must be cleaned and put away if necessary. Please dispose of feces and wastewater WITHOUT CHEMICALS in the septic tank. Dog waste must be collected in bags and disposed of in the trash. We ask that you pick up horse droppings (a manure shovel and wheelbarrow are provided) and dispose of them in the manure pile. Animals brought along: DOGS MUST ALWAYS BE ON A LEASH and kept at a sufficient distance to avoid stressing our farm animals. HORSES may only be stabled in the designated pasture/paddock. Please understand that we only accept horses vaccinated against EHV (Equine Infection Control), so please present your equine passport. GATES, GATES, AND PASTURE FENCINGS MUST BE KEEP CLOSED AT ALL TIMES FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL ANIMALS! We thank you for enforcing these rules with a small token of appreciation. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, In der ca. 4m breiten Einfahrt zur Pferdewiese durften wir uns mit unserem Wohnwagengespann hinstellen. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen gastfreundlich. Gerne wieder.
