About the site
Not far from the edge of the forest is our meadow on which we plant a few trees every year so that in a few years we will have a beautiful stock of fruit trees. The property is fenced and offers a beautiful view towards the Odenwald, for example the Otzberg or the vineyards near Groß-Umstadt. There is a lot to do in our area, e.g. Darmstadt Art Nouveau swimming pool, UNESCO World Heritage Site Messel Pit, Kranistein hunting lodge, Lautertal Felsenmeer, Otzberg, Hüttenthal cheese dairy, Marbach reservoir, Prinz von Hessen pit, Reichelsheim chocolate factory, Darmstadt State Museum, historic old towns, Beerfeld horse market, zoo Vivarium, English Garden in Eulbach, wildlife park, Roman Villa Haselburg, etc.

The most important and most obvious rule of all: 1. Please leave the place as you found it! 2. Please only park your vehicle in the marked area and not elsewhere. The rest of the meadow is used to produce fodder for our horses. 3. If you bring a dog or other animal with you, please also take their legacies with you. 4. There is no possibility of garbage disposal on the property. THANKS

I felt super comfortable on Alexander's pitch. I was received very friendly and he showed me where to stand. You can hear the main road, but as a city dweller it didn't bother me at all. The only thing I found a bit 'untidy' was the direct parking space around the trailers. But otherwise there was also great cell phone reception for anyone who wanted to work from home, that worked out great. Will definitely come back :)

I felt very comfortable on Alexander's pitch and received a very warm welcome. You are really very much on your own there and especially for me as a city dweller the hoped-for relaxation set in very quickly. I'd love to come back. :)
