The Rhein-Weser-Turm near Oberhundem in the Olpe district of North Rhine-Westphalia is a 24 m high observation tower located at around 680 m above sea level. From here you can not only overlook the beautiful Rothaar Mountains, but you can also start your hike or bike tour in almost any direction. In summer, the Rothaarsteig attracts with its numerous foothills and circular tours, and in winter you will find cross-country ski trails around the tower. This is also a great winter camping option for those who are not sensitive to the cold. The restaurant in the lower part of the tower invites you to enjoy delicious food and drinks. Of course you can use the toilet facilities during opening hours. We also have electricity. Tent nomads take note: the meadow behind the tower is reserved for you and you are very welcome too.
