About the site
Our small private campsite is located above the edge of Lake Harkort between Wetter and Herdecke, in the middle of our large garden. We are passionate campers and would like to return some of the hospitality we've experienced in all sorts of countries. It is absolutely quiet here, in the middle of nature with all the animals around and with direct connections to the Ruhr Cycle Path, Avalonia climbing area and the numerous cycle and railway routes in the Ruhr area. You are welcome to use our grill or our terrace. On the side facing the lake, there is an unsecured steep slope, important for people with children.

A beautiful spot, quiet, with a great view of the valley. Sven is a very good host, friendly and uncomplicated. We were surprised by the offer of freshly baked rolls. It's a very relaxing start to the day. Thank you.

A truly beautiful spot with a fantastic view of Lake Harkort and plenty of nature all around. A wonderful, very friendly host family who makes you feel completely at home from the very first contact. We'd love to come back!

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 3 days before your arrival date and receive a full refund. If you cancel later, you will receive 50% of the booking amount back.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable.
