About the site
Fenced property with meadows, trees and bushes. The property is located on a small river that can be navigated by canoe/paddle boat towards Leipzig city center. Forest and floodplain landscape, ideal for hiking. Cospudener See can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Very nice bike tours around the Neuseenland and surrounding area. Belantis family park nearby. Cozy restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area 200 m away. On the property there is a small half-timbered house with a cannon stove, corner bench, table and large TV that can be shared. I can provide an additional sleeping place in a Finnish hut. From April to October the access to the property is blocked with a barrier that is opened with a hand-held transmitter. Please contact us before arrival to hand over the transmitters.

Thomas is a fantastic host. The place is in a great location, lacking nothing. Highly recommended. You can reach the lake in 3 minutes and Leipzig in 25 minutes by bike

Thomas is an amazing host. Always helpful and kind. There are two parking spots, cozy small hut, outdoor shower (not functioning in the winter times), toilet and sink with cold water. Leipzig and its surroundings are amazing! We highly recommend staying here. Thank you Thomas for having us

Nice operator and a lovely spot by the river, but less suitable for children. I was more concerned with making sure our 6-year-old son didn't knock over the many decorative items than enjoying the peace and quiet. The toilet is in a wooden shed with spiders...not for anti-spider fans. A shower is also important to me. It was advertised, but I was met with a very cold outdoor shower. The fire pit was great.
