About the site
Our old forest villa, where we live with our four children, two dogs, cats, and chickens, is enchantingly located in the middle of nowhere! Are you looking for peace and quiet from everyday life, surrounded by nature...and love forest bathing and long walks...or simply lounging in a hammock under the gigantic beech trees?...Then you've come to the right place! Depending on your vehicle, you can park it on the meadow, in a paved parking lot, or on the gravel bed. Only a large forest villa and small outbuildings are located on the property, surrounded by forest, water, and meadows. Simply recharge your batteries, enjoy eggs from happy chickens, cuddle your dog and cat, go on long hikes or bike rides, or simply "just" forest bathing... You can experience all of this with us! A tractor ride through the beautiful Aurachtal valley, a barbecue event, or use of the sauna are also possible upon request. Just contact us and let us know your wishes; we will certainly try to create an unforgettable stay for you!

Jacobsruh is a truly special place—nestled in the tranquility of the forest and supported by an exceptionally warm host family. From the moment you arrive, you sense that something unique is about to take shape here: an atmosphere of warmth, security, and genuine hospitality. Loreen, Patrik, and their four children effortlessly manage to not only welcome you, but also provide you with complete care. With their openness, helpfulness, and kind nature, they are always there to help without ever being intrusive. You feel like part of the family from the very first moment. We didn't lack for anything here—in fact, we had a time that will stay with us for a long time. We would love to come back for another two weeks to enjoy this special place and its wonderful hosts once again. Thank you for everything and stay the way you are.

Our booking was accepted super quickly, and we were greeted with a friendly tour and a drink. Since the terrain was a bit uneven, they brought us chocks for our car. The place was very quiet and perfect for hiking. Cell reception wasn't the best, but that was taken care of, too. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely stay.

A very kind and hospitable host. Loreen conjured up a wonderful breakfast for us every morning. You feel very comfortable on her farm. There's a sandbox for the kids and plenty of animals to discover (dogs, cats, and chickens). Loreen also gives great tips for excursions in the area. All in all, a perfect stay. 🤩 Thank you

Super friendly and attentive hosts. The villa in the forest is absolutely beautiful, and there are plenty of opportunities for walks all around. With Wi-Fi and a welcome glass of wine spritzer, it was also great to work! 😊
