We have excellent pitches close to the motorway, yet still surrounded by beautiful nature. The pitches are suitable for self-sufficient campers. Surrounding the area are sheep, geese, chickens, and plenty of wildlife such as pheasants, hares, and deer.

Booking was quick and easy. We received a warm welcome from Silvia and Thomas. We had our pick of several pitches on the beautiful, spacious grounds. We finally chose a nice one where we had peace and quiet and where our dog could run around. The highway was only noticeable at night by a faint roar, which didn't bother us personally. We even had the occasional visit from the hosts' animals. We'll definitely come back again.

We spent a few very relaxing days here, among sheep, pheasants, and a small family of hedgehogs. This idyllic setting was relaxing for our dogs too. We'll definitely be back! Special praise goes to Silvia-Anne, who provided the little hedgehogs with cat food and water, as we weren't sure if their mother was nearby.

We spent a wonderful weekend here in the countryside. Thomas greeted us very warmly upon arrival and explained how to get to the campsite. Since the site "at the jetty" was available, he recommended we move there. We were very grateful for the suggestion. There, we were surrounded by hedges and trees in our own little world, shared only with the duck that lives at the jetty. The duck was a bit skeptical at first, but we came to terms with it and gave each other space ;-) We'd love to come back. A true oasis of relaxation right on the Ruhr Valley.
