The campsite in Möhnesee is not far away (only about 5 km) from the Möhnesee lake of the same name and invites you to explore. Registration is done via QR code at the entrance. There you can also see the course rules and important information about where to find things. Great! The area is a mown, uneven meadow with paths crisscrossing it. The thistles that were mown along with the grass should probably be pulled out, because it's really painful to step on them with just a pair of pine trees. The view of the fields to the rear is very beautiful. The view of the farm is a bit chaotic and might spoil the holiday mood. Perhaps a simple screen made of pallets (with more or less paint) could remedy this and hide the unfinished projects (who doesn't have them?)? Water and electricity are available directly on site. The restroom is located in the house, and the path to it is clearly marked. It is clean and lovingly furnished. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We'd like to give this place 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4, of course. Despite the minor issues, we had a wonderful three nights' stay. ☺️

A quiet spot on a large meadow at the edge of fields and meadows. It's ideal for walking the dogs, as it's on the edge of town. The toilet in the house is accessible separately, very clean, and well-lit. Thanks to Julian's quick and uncomplicated help, the electricity worked perfectly. There were several vehicles on site, but everyone had enough space and everyone was very quiet and unobtrusive. It can always be like this! The only small caveat: the meadow is very bumpy in places, and there are concrete curbs in the meadow. If you pay attention and drive carefully, it's not a problem. Definitely top value for money!
