About the site
In the beautiful Gailtal - in the border triangle (25km to Italy - 40km to Slovenia) our orchard with around 40 fruit trees offers space and peace as well as a magnificent view of the Julian Alps and the Dobratsch. In the midst of some sheep and chickens, you can enjoy nature, framed by a meadow of flowers. Our area is in a quiet residential area. There are countless leisure activities in the immediate vicinity: whether swimming in the outdoor pool with slide (within walking distance), pedal boating on Lake Presseggersee (15 minutes by car - also accessible by bike), canoeing on the Gail, hiking in the surrounding mountains or perhaps a trip to the sea (1.5 hours) or a bit of culture in Villach (0.5 hours). We would be happy to help you with leisure tips. The completely fenced property is suitable for both dogs and small children. In the neighboring town you can buy milk and dairy products directly from the farm, and you can get eggs directly from the chicken coop. The orchard is off-road (accessible via another meadow), so the vehicle should have a certain ground clearance. In addition, the area is not completely flat, which means that wedges are necessary.

Please do not leave any rubbish or other contamination behind. There are no toilet facilities in the garden, so please ALWAYS use your own camping toilet, thank you. Water can be provided upon request. Showers are available in the nearby outdoor pool about 10 minutes' walk away, or you can use our garden hose. Campfires are only allowed in secure areas. Please do not feed the sheep! Do not throw away cigarette butts, as there is a fire hazard! Please no loud music or parties - thank you.

A truly peaceful spot nestled beneath a variety of fruit trees. You can even see sheep up close. Pure nature. A friendly and uncomplicated booking process. Unfortunately, due to the uneven terrain throughout the site, I had to deduct one star, but I still highly recommend it! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We decided at short notice to stay at Isabella's orchard, surrounded by fruit trees and chickens. The friendly hostess even offered us help (wooden chocks for wheel chocks). The meadow is steeper than expected, and we need chocks to level it as much as possible. We still liked it 👍🏻
