About the site
Welcome to Moerenhof. From here, you have a direct view of Xanten Cathedral. Your pitch is located on a meadow next to our farm. You can choose the exact spot on the farm that you like best. Near the chicken and goose meadow, you can watch the chickens laying fresh eggs. In spring, even the geese lay some. If you want to be closer to the horses, park there. Note: In good weather, access to the meadow is not a problem. If it rains, please only use it with four-wheel drive. Our farm offers a variety of active and varied opportunities. There are various areas for you to use: a table tennis table, a beach volleyball court, a soccer field, a playground, and barbecue areas. Lake Xanten is 4 km away. A paradise for water sports enthusiasts and swimmers. Whether water skiing, sailing, diving, stand-up paddling, surfing, fishing, or relaxing at the lido. There's something for everyone here. The forest, 2 km away, is perfect for long walks and hikes. We look forward to seeing you.

The stay was very nice. I spent a relaxing weekend there. The surrounding area is great for exploring by bike.

A great base for exploring the Lower Rhine region. A very beautiful farm, lovingly converted into a holiday resort. There are holiday apartments and rooms, as well as camper vans. The spacious grounds, with their several fire pits, offer a cozy spot for everyone. We'd love to come back.

Here we had a lovely spot on a meadow. However, the traffic on the road was still audible, even at night.

We had a good time there and a nice spot in a small corner where you feel very undisturbed. From there you can also explore the surrounding area, preferably by bike to the Rhine or to Xanten. In our case, there was a school class there on our first day, so there was a bit more going on on the farm, which was easy to cope with. The owner also said that she doesn't normally accept bookings if there's a school class there and she overlooked it.

Cancellation policy
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
