About the site

We are located in the woods of an abandoned village in the Ligurian Apennines, Italy, 15 km from the 5 Terre. We have created pitches in the shade of centenary trees, easily accessible streams and a private river garden immersed in the waters of a pure and clear river 20 minutes walk away. There are trekking or mountain bike trails, beaches 40 minutes away, a relaxation area in our forest and forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku). We are in the organic food valley, with culinary excellence.

Site rules

We ask guests who wish to visit us to understand that our pitches have been created respecting nature and the territory, as Parisalla Rural Hub is a Permaculture project. Therefore, we have decided not to create structures that can impact the environment: we are playing a role of conservation that the Universe has offered us, we are grateful for this opportunity. Come to Parisalla in the total simplicity of your SELF: come with the vehicle you prefer, if it is vintage even better, dress as you like and do what you like. But respect Nature with us and consider the following rules. 1) We can provide you with water, even if for us it is a precious and expensive asset: do not waste it! 2) You can leave organic waste in our compost: plastic, glass and other things you will have to take away. If you really want us to manage it, we must ask you for a small contribution. 3) The pitches are flat but the terrain is grassy and natural: you may need some wood to place under the wheels to find the right balance: we will provide it for you! 4) There is a kitchen available in the bivouac area: if you wish to use the gas one there is a small surcharge, while the wood one is free. 5) Animals are welcome. 6) After 11pm we ask you to limit music and noise. To reach us: from the town of Sesta Godano follow the signs for Pignona (about 3 km); from here the dirt road (2.8 km) starts that reaches Parisalla. The road can also be traveled with a 2x4 car, a van, a Bulli but also with a trailer no longer than 6 m. Campers may be bothered by some branches up high, but the road is quite wide: they often bring us the rental excavator with a truck and in any case we move a trailer with our boat along this road.

Shinrin Yoku or forest bathing experience

Forest bathing is a Japanese practice of anti-stress therapy proposed through the experience of access to the forest and through actions aimed at achieving inner peace and harmony in nature thanks to simple holistic practices. Walking consciously in the forest, meditating, revitalizing the 5 senses are simple but effective experiences if done in the right place. Our Parisalla Rural Hub site has set up spaces and paths for this type of activity by creating a suitable place according to the parameters of the European body (PEFC program for the recognition of forest certification systems).
