Welcome to our family campsite Mohrenhof Franken! True to our motto "Feel the Camp", our campsite is located right next to a bathing pond, embedded in the wonderful landscape. Thanks to our total of 18 different pitch categories and many different accommodations, there is something for everyone. We are happy to offer you a temporary home all year round in the heart of Franconia! Book a camping experience tailored to your needs and desires. Whether you're with a caravan, camper or tent - our categories offer space for all types of camping. We have a wide range of pitches for this - from paved panoramic pitches with electricity, water and sewage to simple meadow pitches, we have everything on offer. We also offer a wide selection of accommodation - from simple sleeping barrels to the Woodspace family lodge with a great view and large terrace, we have everything you need. Our trademark is the fire bowls in the Mohrenhof design, which decorate most of our campsite. Firewood for stoking is available at reception. Catering options: The campsite's own restaurant "SeeKneipe" with its large beer garden serves delicious Franconian and other specialties. Early in the morning, you can get fresh baked goods from our artisan baker Striffler in the "little shop". You can also buy juices, coffee, sweets, camping supplies and everyday products there. Between May and mid-September, our BeachBar is also open at our wake park with beach. There you can get cocktails, cool soft drinks, beer, as well as pizza or tarte flambée and then enjoy them with your feet in the sand. Activities: With our sports and games facilities, you have plenty of opportunities to let off steam. We offer pedal cars, archery courses, handicrafts with the alpacas or alpaca hikes, pony rides, adventure golf and, between May and mid-September, wake park and aqua park. You can experience the classic "Mohrenhof feeling" in the evenings together with stick bread at the fire bowls (of course, you can also light a fire in your fire bowls on site just for yourself). The Mohrenhof as a starting point for your excursions: We are an ideal starting point for romantic Franconia. In our surroundings you will find the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, as well as the towns of Dinkelsbühl, Nuremberg, Würzburg and Bad Windsheim with the Frankentherme and the artificial salt lake. The pitches are mostly accessible via paved / asphalt paths. You are standing on grass here, but also have an asphalted area for an awning. The pitches here are also equipped with direct electricity, water and sewage connections. The car can be parked directly on the pitch. In the "Panorama Terrace Meadow" category you are only standing on grass. < Suitable for mobile homes and caravans > Right in the middle: These pitches are perfect for families as they are easily accessible and very centrally located between the "SeeKneipe" restaurant and the sanitary oasis. There is also a playground with our swimming pond very close by. Here you stand on grass with a paved area for an awning. There is electricity and water at every pitch. You can park your car right on the pitch. < Suitable for mobile homes and caravans > Campfire: Here you will be on a large meadow right next to our sanitary oasis. The pitches are usually divided into units of 4, including a central supply column with connections for fresh water and electricity. You can park your car right on the pitch. < Suitable for mobile homes, caravans and tents > Gmiadliplatz: This site is entirely asphalted and offers a great, elevated view of the beautiful surroundings. It is equipped with connections for fresh water and electricity. You can park your car directly on the site. < Particularly suitable for mobile homes and vans > Rondelle: These circular pitches are perfect for groups and each offer 7-8 pitches on grass. You can stand in a circle and use the inner area together. The connections for fresh water and electricity are located centrally in the middle of the circle. You can park your car directly on the pitch. < Suitable for campers, caravans and tents > Am Birkenweg: At this site you stand between three roundabouts on the lawn. There are also connections for electricity and water. You can park your car directly at the site. < Suitable for campers, caravans and tents > Goat farm/sheep pasture: The pitches are perfect for relaxed and authentic camping. You can select multiple pitches per booking. Electricity connections are available within a radius of less than 20 metres. You can park your car directly on the pitch. < Suitable for campers, caravans and tents > At the wake park: You will be standing on a lawn right on the bank of the wake park, close to our BeachBar. There are connections for electricity and fresh water. Sanitary facilities are located right next to the BeachBar. You can park your car right there. < Suitable for campers, caravans and tents > Group camping / Wiesnkuschler: The pitches are located on a large meadow and are designed exclusively for camping. You can select several pitches per booking. Electricity is available everywhere, with an extension cable if necessary. You cannot park your car directly on the pitch. Transit sites: We also offer paved transit sites on Split near the reception and the lakeside pub. These sites are accessible at any time of the day or night for spontaneous transits. Connections for fresh water and electricity are available. You can stay attached if you have a trailer. < Suitable for transiting campers and caravans > Pitches near our alpacas: At the alpaca stable: Here you stand on grass or gravel and can experience our alpacas up close (our accommodation "circus wagons" is also ideal for this). Fresh water, electricity and sewage are available directly on site. You can park your car directly on site. < Suitable for campers, caravans and tents > The Wiesn: These pitches are easy to reach and are centrally located between the alpaca stable and the sanitary oasis, very close to the playground and the swimming pond. Here you stand on grass. They are also equipped with two central barbecue areas. You can park your car directly on the pitch. < Suitable for campers, caravans and tents > Our accommodations at a glance: Sleeping barrels: The barrels offer space for 2 people and are equipped with a large bed including storage space, two benches and an extendable table. The associated wooden pavilions, each with two benches and a table, invite you to share meals or play games in the evening. Tiny Houses: The mini houses "Max" & "Moritz" can accommodate up to 4 people and are also equipped with sleeping facilities, a modern kitchen and a small bathroom. The spacious terrace is ideal for sociable evenings outdoors. Circus wagons: Here you can spend the night right next to the alpacas and have breakfast with them on the terrace. There is a fire pit right in front of the small veranda. Shepherd's wagon: This is located on our terraces, which is why you have a great view of the nearby surroundings. Cabins: In the "Die Wiesn" campsite category you will find spacious, simple overnight cabins with space for up to 8 people. Beer tent sets are set up in the entrance area. Wood_Spaces: The lodges are made of solid wood and are also located on the raised terraces. In the high-quality accommodations you will find everything you need for a break in nature: a kitchen, sleeping facilities, modern bathrooms and a wooden terrace with a wonderful view of the landscape. You can choose between different sizes: from the couples' accommodations AM ECK & UMS ECK to the large family lodge STERNBLICK. Mobile homes: Our Savannah and Taos accommodations can accommodate 4-5 people and are equipped with a state-of-the-art American kitchen including sleeping facilities and functional bathrooms. However, if you want to get the real camping feeling, you can stay in our Malibu mobile home with an integrated caravan as a sleeping area. It is also equipped with a kitchen and a small bathroom.
