Hello, I'm Michel und Gundi W.
We are two passionate campers and we prefer to drive around the world in our little Bulli to camp somewhere in the middle of nature. Since it is becoming increasingly difficult to find lonely, free places in the middle of nature, we were very happy to meet VanSite. Here you can find nice secluded spots without feeling unwanted :) We would like to contribute to this idea with our pitch. We really hope that you like it with us :))

Super schöner Stellplatz in Hanglage mit Blick auf den See. Die Nacht im Dachzelt war sehr angenehm und ruhig. Michael ist ein super netter Mensch und auch leidenschaftlicher Camper! Ich komme gerne wieder 😊

Wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen und verweilen,absolute Ruhe, Man hört nichts außer Vögel und den Wind. Der Spot selber ist schön gelegen,man hat Blick auf den Edersee und die Wiesen, Michel und Gundi sind sehr sehr entspannte und nette Gastgeber, man kommt sich vor wie im Schwedenurlaub. Sehr zu empfehlen,für jeden der Ruhe sucht,ich habe selten so gut geschlafen und war so entspannt,werde wiederkommen!

Very nice hosts, fast and friendly communication. The place is beautifully situated, you have a great view of the Edersee, as well as a beautiful wild meadow on the other side, where a deer often came by. You could also watch the kites wonderfully. The national park is within walking distance and beautiful for hiking. From the You can place yourself with the Cycling along the lake, but there is no separate cycle path for the first few kilometers, which is why it was a bit tricky for us with the dog trailer (otherwise it's no problem). But after about 4 km you come to the fantastically beautiful, natural cycle path. Was a very nice stay, only there is little shade, but with an awning and towels it was fine.

We had a very nice pitch, tucked away and quiet. For self-sufficient campers an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours or just to relax. We can only recommend the pitch.

Very nice, quiet parking space in nature. You are at the lake in no time. Hosts are very nice, willing to help and advise. Uneven parking space, remember your ramps 👍 We'd love to come back, so 5 stars from us 👍🙏

We really enjoyed our stay, the pitch is wonderful, you are practically surrounded by nature and don't hear much more than birdsong. Michel was an outstanding host, very accommodating, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We were also allowed to fill up on fresh water and electricity with our 6.40m Ducato. The approach to the parking space is a bit steep, i.e. to get into the correct final position you have to turn back and forth a bit. You should also have leveling wedges with you. All in all a great place to relax and as a base for beautiful hikes around the Edersee.

It was the nicest pitch we've had so far. All alone and with a great view. Not quite level but doable with leveling wedges. Michel and Gundi were super nice and helpful without being intrusive. Hopefully we can come back soon 🙂

Super nice contact and really nice parking space, although unfortunately we lacked most of the water in the Edersee, which of course nobody can do anything about. Therefore: 5 stars! 😊

It was beautiful, the parking space is located directly on a large pasture with a view of the Edersee and the edge of the forest. The view is heavenly. The hosts are super friendly and caring, you get help when you need it. We'd love to come back.

We felt very comfortable with the two, were treated very friendly and got everything we needed. A spacious pitch for our camper was available, and we also had the opportunity to store our chairs and table at night. The location is a dream! You don't hear anything except the snorting of the horses and the occasional geese. You can walk to the national park in 20 minutes. Exceeded all expectations! Thanks! Denise and Denise
