The Weingut Schmitt is a family business and the third generation manages 30 hectares of vineyards for wine, sparkling wine, Federweißer and mulled wine as well as orchards for our fine spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. Most of our vineyards are located in the middle of water protection areas on the Mittelmain and Volkacher Mainschleife on shell limestone soils and in the Steigerwald on Gipskeuper. The vineyards give the wines their unique and special structure. The best thing about being a winemaker is working with nature, facing new challenges every year, being able to realize new ideas in the wine cellar and letting the wines mature with special lighting and classical music. The eagle, the heraldic animal from the traditional family crest, symbolically flies over the expanse of the vineyards and our homeland. Our origins remain the same, though nothing is as constant as change. We offer various events in the vineyard, on the winery or directly at the customer's site. For campers we offer a quiet pitch between the fruit trees. During factory tours and wine tastings, you can learn the "stories" about the family and the wines. Mega schöner Platz. Haben zwischen den Weinstöcken gestanden. Ziemlich ruhig hier :). Sanitäranlagen super! Nach Würzburg ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen.

Der Platz war großartig. Die Sanitäranlagen sind recht neu und sehr gepflegt. Im Vorraum gibt es sogar einen kleinen Kühlschrank mit Wein und Suppe. Der Kontakt war superfreundlich - wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Da der Platz nur halb belegt war,waren wir zufrieden,bei voller Belegung wäre es mit Wc und Dusche echt zu stressig.Also alles gut. Hillu und Wolle
