In September and October, the red and fallow deer rut in the Wohldorfer Wald nature reserve and the Duvensteder Brook nature reserve. Duvensteder Brook, Hamburg's largest nature reserve, is also within walking distance. It's not just foxes and hares who say goodnight here.
