About the site
We live in an idyllic location in a 12-house suburb of Steyerberg. In the middle of meadows, forests and fields. Ideal for people with small children. Dogs and your own horses are welcome. Most of our animals are trusting. Almost all of them like to be petted. On our farm you will find horses, dogs, rabbits and chickens. A freshly laid chicken egg can possibly be collected directly in the morning. Do you or your children want to have contact with our animals? You are also welcome to help with the care and maintenance of our animals. Find out about their behavior, characteristics, breeds and everything else that interests you about our animals. We will always do our best to answer your questions. The pitch is located directly next to the horse paddock on a grass path. CAN BE SEEN IN THE PHOTO ABOVE RIGHT. Service: - Electricity and water, as well as sewage WITHOUT CHEMICALS are no problem. -Black water can be disposed of in the town about 5.5 km away for a fee. -Our property is under video surveillance! (Recordings are automatically saved for up to 7 days.) -You are welcome to use our grill and garden furniture by arrangement. -A patio heater or fire bowl/fireplace is also possible. Shopping: approx. 7km Bakery: approx. 5km Swimming pools: Steyerberg outdoor pool (approx. 7km) Stolfenau outdoor pool (approx. 8km) Uchte outdoor pool (approx. 12km) Liebenau indoor pool (approx. 12km) Nienburg leisure pool (approx. 25km) For the little ones: A slide, sandpit, swing and trampolines can be used at your own risk. For dog lovers: Directly 50m along the county road, a dirt road invites you to take leisurely walks through fields, forests and meadows. Just under 7km away there is a quarry lake where dog owners can also go swimming with their dogs. There are also great opportunities to take your dog with you (can be found under the sights. See numbers 1,2,3,5,7,8,16,17 and 20) For horse people and carriage drivers There is also something here for horse lovers. If you bring your own horse, we offer you a fenced meadow and a paddock (with electric wire). There is no stabling option for the time you are with us (except for 1 pony). You are welcome to bring a pasture tent for shelter. For feed, we offer pellets, barley flakes, alfalfa cobs, apple mash and/or molasses chips. Hay is also available. Just like with dogs, there are hardly any limits to the riding/driving options after 50m of road. If you cross a few roads, you can even ride/drive to the Kirchdorfer Heide. Special riding/driving paths have been created in the Kirchdorfer Heide. There is an off-road course with natural obstacles at E/A level. There is a restaurant directly adjacent to the heath. Not only are horses welcome here and can they be "parked" here, but while you are having a snack, your horses will also be provided with fresh water and feed (if requested). If you are a horse lover, you can rent a carriage/cart with a driver and drive around the heath from there. Various excursions and sights include: 1. the historic Meyersiek watermill in Steyerberg (approx. 6km) 2. the Steyerberger Amtshof (approx. 6km) 3. Steyerberg fairy tale forest (approx. 7km) 4. Boat tour on the large Aue from Steyerberg (approx. 6km if you have your own boat, otherwise a one-man kayak can be rented for a fee) 5. Boat tour for up to 4 people on the Weser with a motorboat (approx. 12km, request when booking a pitch. Help with trailering and untrailing is requested.) 6. Wedding mill in Landesbergen (approx. 12km) 7. Tiedemann's carriage and covered wagon rides in moor, heath, asparagus fields and blueberry plantations in Uchte (approx. 12km, request when booking a pitch) 8. Kirchdorfer Heide (approx. 12km particularly beautiful in August-September) 9. Thiermann Spargelhof in Kirchdorf (approx. 18 km, plenty of asparagus in March / April) 10. We want mutual consideration. Although we live in the country, there are still neighbors. Since we have a great relationship with our neighbors and want to keep it that way, NIGHTTIME QUIET from 10 p.m., if you arrive later, you must be quiet immediately. until 7 a.m. CLEANLINESS Please leave the place as you found it: Therefore, garbage must be disposed of SEPARATELY, fire pit and grill must be cleaned, garden furniture must be cleaned and put away if necessary. Please dispose of feces and waste water WITHOUT CHEMICALS in the septic tank. Pick up dog excrement in bags and dispose of it in the garbage. We ask that you pick up horse droppings (a manure boy and wheelbarrow are happy to be provided) and dispose of them on the manure heap. Animals you bring with you: DOGS MUST ALWAYS BE ON A LEASH and kept at a distance so that our animal residents on the farm are not stressed. HORSES are only to be kept in the designated pasture/paddock. Please understand that we only accept horses that have been vaccinated against EHV, so we ask you to present the equine passport. GATES, GATES AND PASTURE FENCES MUST ALWAYS BE KEEPED CLOSED FOR THE SAFETY REASONS OF ALL ANIMALS! We thank you for implementing the rules with a small gift. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, In der ca. 4m breiten Einfahrt zur Pferdewiese durften wir uns mit unserem Wohnwagengespann hinstellen. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen gastfreundlich. Gerne wieder.
