About the site
"In the field" is the old name for our property. It is located between fields, meadows and small woods. The center of Steinhagen is about 2.5 km away - quickly accessible via the road or without a road through the forest and fields. In the village there are two ice cream parlors, a library, an indoor swimming pool, restaurants and supermarkets. The Waldbad - Steinhagen's natural outdoor pool - is also easy to reach by bike. It's not far to the bakery: the bakery is opposite us. You can get fresh baked goods there on Friday and Saturday mornings. The shop in the village is also open on Sundays. They have the best bread far and wide and the coffee strips are a dream :-) There is public transport, but we'd better not talk about it any more. You can stand in the sun and air on grass and moss in the garden behind or next to the house. We have a fire bowl on site. We can fill up drinking water for you, and electricity can also be arranged. We don't have a toilet or bathroom! But you can charge your electric car or e-bike with our own solar power for a small donation. You are welcome to bring children with you, there is plenty of space to run around. We don't have any play equipment like swings or slides. Dogs or other animals are not a good fit for our cat, so we are only suitable without pets.

Site rules
Only for vehicles registered before 1980. With the exception of fully electric towing vehicles, which can also be newer. All others should ask, maybe we'll like the car anyway :-) We have a charging facility for electric cars on site. (Type 2) Anyone who behaves normally is welcome. For us that means: don't leave any rubbish or cigarette butts in the countryside, please don't use disposable dishes. Never leave open flames unattended. Don't leave the paths in the forest, don't feed other people's horses or other animals, don't dig up the area... Be nice to people and animals. We don't have anything against music at a normal volume, you're welcome to play music yourself. If it's too scary for us, we'll let you know ;-)

Wir hatten einen schönen Kontakt. Man hat die Möglichkeit im hinteren Teil des Gartens seperat zu stehen. Da es stark geregnet hat, hat Nicole mir Angeboten auf dem gepflasterten Teil zu stehen. Das war sehr gut.
