About the site
The campsite is located in the Solothurn Jura, in the middle of the beautiful Thal Nature Park. From here you can start countless hikes or bike tours. The Weissenstein, which is accessible by cable car, the Röti with its impressive view, the Balmberg with the forest rope park, the picturesque Wolfsschlucht, The bison enclosure or the Siky Park Zoo are just a few of the sights in the region. If desired, services can be purchased on site as a flat rate. These include electricity, shower, toilet, sink, outside water tap, waste and cassette emptying, use of tables and chairs on the lawn. Prices in addition to the parking fee: 1 person plus 10.00 CHF, for each additional person 5.00 CHF extra. Exchange rate: Swiss Franc-Euro 1x1.1 We look forward to your visit! Since the campsite is in a residential area, it is forbidden to light open fires. Setting up tents is not permitted. Quiet hours must be observed from 10 p.m.

The campsite is as described and wonderfully quiet. Jörg is a very friendly host.
Very friendly host, nice little village. The campsite itself is okay for one night, however, there is a lot of audible traffic quite early on.
The place itself isn't anything special (just a parking lot), but you can park here in peace for a few days. And if you park on the edge, you'll also have greenery. It's in the middle of the (small) town and therefore really quiet. There are lovely walking and hiking trails all around. Even with a dog, it was relaxing. There's a small supermarket and a café/bakery right around the corner. Rosmarie was super nice and friendly. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.
We were welcomed by very warm hosts. We spent two wonderful nights under the plum tree. We were able to use the shower and toilet, as well as a large sink. We also went on a fantastic hike through the Wolfsschlucht Gorge. Highly recommended. Thank you.
