About the site
Our walnut meadow with its over 30-year-old trees is embedded in the cultural landscape of the Wels Heath. The large walnut trees offer shade on hot days and invite you to linger. We are easily accessible via the Passau / Vienna motorway. Our site is also ideal for anyone who needs a parking space while passing through.

The area should be left as you would have liked to have found it! No dogs allowed to run loose, as wild animals such as rabbits, pheasants, deer, etc. live in the area.

The site itself is beautiful and the owner friendly. Unfortunately, the description of the amenities is inaccurate. There was no shower (I was allowed to use the one in the basement of the house as an exception – I was traveling with a bike and tent), nor electricity, toilet, water, or Wi-Fi at the pitch. I think €26 is too much compared to a mid-range campsite, for nothing more than a beautiful walnut meadow. It's a shame, really. I was disappointed that the reality didn't match the description. I'm not sure I'd book something through vansite.eu again if I couldn't find a campsite nearby.

We had the pleasure of spending a few days at this campsite, and it was a wonderful experience! The location is absolutely fantastic—surrounded by nature, yet close to town and very conveniently located. The walnut and fruit trees provide shade, and we were lucky enough to spot pheasants and hares. The adjacent road is quiet at night, and the motorway is only noticeable as a gentle murmur when the window is open. A great spot for dog owners, too. Despite the very short notice booking, the contact was very friendly and quick. We highly recommend this campsite!

Unfortunately, I realized too late that there was no electricity, plumbing, etc., so I switched to a campsite 30km away. For €3.90 more, I got plumbing, Wi-Fi, a pool, a dog shower, and much more.

For €26 per night, at least a sign should indicate the overnight accommodation. The given address is 100 meters away. Only through neighbors could we clarify where to stay. The price is unjustified. Highway noise all night.
