About the site
Welcome to my mini-campground! 🚌 🏕️ The campsite is located in the Westerwald region, near the towns of Bad Marienberg and Hachenburg, a few meters outside the town limits. 🏡 Here you can relax, enjoy nature, observe various wild animals in the mornings and evenings, and much more. 🌲🐿️🦌 Are you coming with your kids? The meadow is big enough for running around, playing, and exploring. ⚽️🪃🏹🛷🔎🌾 There's hardly any through traffic. In the evening, you can admire the starry sky 🌌 around a campfire. A designated fire pit is available for your campfire, and firewood is also provided. 🪵 🔥 If needed, I can also set up a tripod with a grill grate for you. 😉 Your camp is a great starting point for numerous possible mountain bike tours 🚵 through the Westerwald and into the neighboring Siegerland region. The towns of Bad Marienberg 🏠 (indoor swimming pool, sauna complex, restaurants, wildlife park) and Hachenburg 🏰 (beautiful old town, brewery, castle) are easily and conveniently accessible by mountain bike. From the campsite you can directly access farm and forest roads without having to travel along main roads, so nothing stands in the way of extended hikes. In the village itself you will find a supermarket 🛒, a bakery 🥖, a snack bar and a pizzeria 🍕. If you want to come with more than one vehicle and bring your friends, just ask, we'll surely find a solution. I would be delighted to welcome you to our region of Westerwald soon!

Site rules
Your vehicle should be self-sufficient, including the necessary electricity 🔌, water supply 🛁 and toilet 🚽. Any waste generated must be taken away and disposed of by yourself.🚮 A fire pit has been set up for your campfire. A certain amount of firewood is always available for you. Of course, you are also welcome to use your own wood. If the fire risk is extremely high in summer due to prolonged drought, the firewood storage area will remain empty and open campfires are not permitted. The ashes may remain in the fire pit. Otherwise, a certain amount of common sense is required when dealing with fire 🔥😃 Wood is stored and processed on the site; if the owner (me) is working there (occasionally on weekends), I ask for your understanding.

A beautiful, quiet spot on the outskirts of Weitefeld with a friendly and totally uncomplicated host who shares the joy of camping and beautiful VW buses! It was almost a bit annoying that I was driving the Ducato this time… 😅 Directly from the site, you can take lovely walks through meadows and fields. Ideal if you're traveling with a dog. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be happy to come back! And hopefully with the right vehicle… 😜

Karl provides guests with a wonderful property that is immaculately maintained and in top condition. Anyone seeking peace and quiet is in the right place, and we felt absolutely at home. The contact was very friendly, uncomplicated, and prompt, so everything was perfect there too. Unfortunately, we lose one star for the noise from the adjacent industrial area; it was a bit annoying on a Friday afternoon, but from 6:00 PM onward, it was completely quiet and you could only hear the birds chirping. We'd still love to come back!
