About the site
Between fields and the sea. Tierra Paz is a small, peaceful property in El Palmar, just 1 km from the beautiful, still pristine surfing beach of El Palmar. Despite its proximity to the beach, it is absolutely peaceful and quiet. Here you'll find a place with plenty of peace and space to linger. The freely accessible outdoor area offers various comfortable spots to chill (yoga deck, hammock). The toilet is a composting toilet (separating toilet). Emptying the camper toilet is not possible here. A small supermarket and a delicious restaurant/bar/pizzeria are within a 5-minute walk. The bathroom with a nice hot shower must be booked separately. I have to buy my water here, which is quite expensive, as El Palmar is not connected to any mains. The new yoga deck invites you to linger or practice yoga or a Thai massage. As a yoga teacher and Thai massage therapist, I offer my vansite guests both private yoga lessons and massages. Just ask ;) * THE COZY CONTAINER: If you ever need a break from camping, or want to have visitors, etc.: I also rent a converted container with one double bed, two single beds, a kitchen, and seating/work space. Please inquire about the price (depending on the length of stay).

Tierra Paz (currently a yoga retreat in development) is a place of peace, tranquility, and relaxation. Therefore, we welcome everyone who is looking for the same :) It's also great for remote work (good WiFi); I work remotely from here every day. If you need a party and loud music, this isn't the place for you. The toilet is a composting toilet. We recycle 100% of our water (for watering plants), so please use little soap or eco-friendly products. The electricity is 100% solar-generated. As long as the sun shines, everything's fine. When it doesn't shine, we all have to be considerate. There are five cats living here. They are very curious and might even get into your van, so if you're allergic to cats, it's best not to come here ;) Unfortunately, you have to take your own trash with you, as El Palmar doesn't have garbage collection (there are large bins along the roads leading down to the beach).

Like receiving a passive yoga session but with the one important incredient: the bliss of touch. A firm but smooth touch unique to Thai massage thus given without oil and fully dressed. More than in a “normal” massage you will find elements of physiotherapy, osteopathy and reflexiology, all linked together in fluent movements like a dancing meditation where both receiver and giver can easily lose track of time entirely while being in this marriage of movement, touch and energy. What you can expect from my thai yoga massage (the so called “northern” or “Chiang Mai style” that I learnt from my teachers) is something you might never have experienced before. A relaxing, releasing, pain-relieving and even healing massage that is adjusted to every single body. If you really let go and surrender yourself totally to the treatment you will find yourself in a state of total relaxation – physically and emotionally – yet totally energized.

Pia is a wonderfully warm host. The place is very welcoming, and there's everything you need. The beach is a short walk (20 minutes) from the beautiful beach. El Palmar is super relaxed and definitely worth a longer stay.

Pia is a very warm hostess who offers a wonderful stay near the sea with her pitch. Personally, I felt very comfortable from the first day and extended my stay straight away. I really enjoyed my very first yoga class with Pia and can recommend it to everyone. Thanks again :) The campsite itself has everything you need for a stay of several days. Everything is beautifully set up, and you can really relax there. The beach is only a 25-minute walk away. The beach promenade itself is home to a variety of restaurants, cafés, surf schools, and shops. So there's something for everyone. I would come back here anytime I'm in the area. Thanks for the great time and maybe see you soon :)

We were privileged to spend three wonderful days here with Pia and her boyfriend. The "Land of Peace El Palmar" exudes peace and attentiveness between people, animals, and the environment, and the loving treatment makes you feel at home right away. We had a wonderful and very professional yoga class with Pia, which was completely tailored to our needs, and we also booked an equally professional Thai massage for the next day. The property is quite large, yet you enjoy the closeness and friendly helpfulness. We had many pleasant and personal conversations :) By bike, you can reach the sea in just a few minutes, and a small supermarket with local products is right on the way there. Here, you are truly in good hands, far away from the beach tourists, you are safe, find absolute peace, don't have to constantly "lock everything down," and can truly unwind.
