About the site
Idyllic spot in front of Unsleben Castle. A few steps from the countryside, ideal for families with dogs and/or children. Just a few steps from the village shops. There's a village shop with fresh rolls and plenty of good groceries, a butcher with excellent Franconian sausages (and more...), a savings bank, and a pharmacy. Plenty of peace, tranquility, and nature. "To be on the safe side," we don't generally offer shower/toilet facilities. However, if one of our vacation apartments is available during your stay, you are welcome to use the bathroom there for a small additional charge. Please feel free to ask us before/when booking for the current situation.

To make the laundry
Depending on occupancy in our holiday apartments, you can use the washing machine in one of the rooms—assuming there are no other guests present—and then use a clothes rack to hang up your wet clothes. If all rooms are occupied, our housekeeping staff can often do the laundry for you using another machine that is not accessible to guests. Please let us know when booking, and we'll see what's possible.

Thank you so much for this beautiful spot. We were there in the summer. It was completely hassle-free from booking to departure. Friendly host, electricity, a toilet in the guesthouse, a starry sky through the panoramic roof—everything you could need was there. We'd love to come back again when we're passing through.

Arrive, fall in love, and feel at home... that's the motto here. A beautiful ambiance set against a historic backdrop with very friendly and welcoming hosts. The surrounding area offers great opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us campers. We'd love to come back 🤗

Thank you so much for this wonderful spot. It was completely hassle-free from booking to departure. A very warm welcome. We were able to stand right in front of this wonderful historical backdrop. We took our Labrador for a walk through the meadows and the small village. We spontaneously stopped at the newly opened village inn. The best sushi we've had in ages. So fresh and delicious. A peaceful night. Had we not been passing through, we would have loved to stay longer. Thank you so much to the lovely castle owners for making this place possible.
