Welcome! A small, unpaved private path takes you directly to our wild meadow, which is surrounded by hedges with huge old oaks and beeches. To get there, however, your vehicle should not be the size of a school bus, otherwise the path might be a little too narrow. Once you have arrived, you can look for a place as you wish, depending on whether you would rather enjoy the sun in the open space or the cool shade under the trees. If you want to be completely undisturbed, you can also find a spot that is not visible. If you like, you can also sleep outside, perhaps directly under the starry sky or under the thick canopy of the old linden tree, through which hardly a drop of rain gets through. There are many fruit trees and berry bushes that you can of course help yourself to when the season is right. Your fellow residents on the meadow are deer, hares, squirrels, birds, butterflies and our lively flock of chickens, who do have their own area. There is also a small fire pit if you want to make yourself comfortable by the campfire in the evening. We can provide you with firewood. We may also be able to offer you a few herbs or fresh vegetables from our garden. Follow the small path marked in red to the very end (and really the very end), drive past all the gates and driveways. When the straight path ends, it continues unexpectedly to the left at a right angle and after a few meters you are standing on the open area of the meadow below. Further up (on the left) you will find several sheltered, secluded places between bushes or walls where you can set up your own private home. There are three outdoor swimming pools in the area (Nordhastedt, Albersdorf and Hennstedt), many excursion destinations in the surrounding area - such as the Stone Age Park in Albersdorf, the district town of Heide, bathing areas on the North Sea, Büsum, Eider Barrage and the Dutch town of Friedrichstadt with many small canals for canoeing, kayaking or pedal boating, bathing areas and paddling opportunities on the small river Eider,...
