About the site
In the southern tip of Thuringia, at the foot of the Großer Gleichberg, lies the tranquil village of Linden. There, in the former border area, close to the A71 motorway (travel time approx. 15 minutes), we warmly welcome you. On our property behind the house is our garden with plenty of space for camping. Right behind it, our orchard with a view over meadows and fields invites you to camp and linger. The shower and toilets can be accessed through the barn. A refrigerator/freezer and electricity can be provided on request. Whether you are planning a hike over the Gleichberge, to the Straufhain castle ruins or on the Grenzgängerweg, we are happy to answer any questions you may have. The thermal baths of Bad Rodach and Bad Königshofen are also about 10 km away. Of course, dogs are also very welcome here.

Angela is a very kind host, who offers a beautiful site on the edge of a very quiet, rural town, with views on the meadows and the hills, and a very well maintained toilet+shower. Vielen Dank, Angela, für deine hertzliche Gästlichkeit.

I was greeted very nicely and informed about all possibilities. The place is very quiet, large and invites you to relax. There were a few stone slabs on site to compensate for the not entirely flat terrain. But your own drive-on ramps would also do the trick. I didn't use the sanitary facilities. The border route between Thuringia and Bavaria runs nearby. There you can take beautiful walks. Internet reception is good. I saved this place because it is perfect for a longer stay. All thumbs up!

Angela gave us a very warm welcome on the large property behind the house. The parking lot is very nice and quiet. We felt absolutely comfortable here and, thanks to the good LTE network, we were able to go about our work without restrictions. The surrounding area invites you to take long walks. We were particularly happy about the homemade jam that Angela brought to us. Delicious! 😋 We can only recommend the pitch. 👍
