About the site
In the southern tip of Thuringia, at the foot of the Großer Gleichberg, lies the tranquil village of Linden. There, in the former border area, close to the A71 motorway (travel time approx. 15 minutes), we warmly welcome you. On our property behind the house is our garden with plenty of space for camping. Right behind it, our orchard with a view over meadows and fields invites you to camp and linger. The shower and toilets can be accessed through the barn. A refrigerator/freezer and electricity can be provided on request. Whether you are planning a hike over the Gleichberge, to the Straufhain castle ruins or on the Grenzgängerweg, we are happy to answer any questions you may have. The thermal baths of Bad Rodach and Bad Königshofen are also about 10 km away. Of course, dogs are also very welcome here.

Angela is a very kind host, who offers a beautiful site on the edge of a very quiet, rural town, with views on the meadows and the hills, and a very well maintained toilet+shower. Vielen Dank, Angela, für deine hertzliche Gästlichkeit.

Ich wurde sehr nett begrüßt und über alle Möglichkeiten aufgeklärt. Der Platz ist sehr ruhig, groß und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Vor Ort gab es ein paar Steinplatten, um dass nicht ganz ebene Gelände auszugleichen. Die eigenen Auffahrkeile würden es aber auch tun. Die sanitären Einrichtungen habe ich nicht genutzt. In der Nähe verläuft der Grenzweg zwischen Thüringen und Bayern. Dort kann man schöne Wanderungen unter nehmen. Internetempfang ist gut. Diesen Platz habe ich mir gespeichert weil er perfekt für eine längeren Aufenthalt ist. Alle Daumen hoch!

Angela hat uns auf dem großen Grundstück hinter dem Haus super herzlich empfangen. Der Stellplatz ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Wir haben uns hier absolut wohl gefühlt und konnten dank des guten LTE-Netzes uneingeschränkt unserer Arbeit nachgehen. Die Umgebung lädt zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen ein. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über die selbstgemachte Marmelade, die Angela uns vorbeigebracht haben. Sehr lecker! 😋 Wir können den Stellplatz nur empfehlen. 👍
