The well-kept meadow, which is exclusively available to one camper, is part of the property of our house (former forester's house) and is over 500 square meters in size. It is almost flat and is mown weekly. Located on the outskirts of Engen (Konstanz district) (1km from the center), it offers a unique view of Engen and the Hohenhewen. New from March 23: The parking space is now paved over a length of over 30 meters and can therefore be used without any problems at any time of the year (see latest photos). Lake Constance is 15-20 minutes away by car and it doesn't take much longer by train (RE or Seehas) (Radolfzell - Engen from 19 minutes). You can reach the Schaffhausen Rhine Falls by car in just under 30 minutes. You can start a short hike to the Engen Ice Age Park or the new large premium hiking trail “Hegau Vulkan Tour” directly from the spot. You can also start from here by bike, for example towards Lake Constance, on rarely used side routes in beautiful nature. For the way back, the train connection mentioned is a great alternative. The Engen adventure pool can be reached by bike in 5 minutes. Despite our external location, there are also many shopping opportunities in the area (farm shop 400m, supermarkets 1-2km). Children are welcome to bounce on our trampoline. Our own fireplace at the house with a swivel grill or just the fire bowl can be used free of charge including wood. WiFi free of charge. We can bottle drinking water. Outside there is access to our cistern (rainwater) with a hose. No toilet / shower on site. You can use both for a fee, 400m away at the Hegau West service area. E-cars can be charged during the day at our wallbox in the carport for a fee of 40ct / kWh. A 230V outdoor socket in the carport can be used for €3 per day.

Der Stellplatz liegt sehr ruhig auf einer gepflegten Wiese am Haus. Man ist aber für sich alleine. Der Untergrund ist befestigt und die Familie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein Platz wie man sich ihn wünscht. Kommen gerne wieder!!! Auch die Altstadt und Umgebung ist sehr schön!

Great, slightly uneven place. No problem with wedges. Calm and cozy. Eric is very friendly and happy to give advice on things to do in the area. We felt very comfortable.

The pitch at Eric's is great! You have the large meadow all to yourself and a gigantic view. Eric and his wife are very nice and helpful. Electricity is available and we also got a fire bowl and wood. Above the parking space, a rest stop can be reached in 5 minutes on foot, there are good sanitary facilities. In the city with a pretty old town you can walk in 15 minutes and the outdoor pool there is also highly recommended. We really liked Eric's and we would love to come back. It was the perfect place for us to continue our journey to Switzerland. It is close to the Autobahn and therefore not a major detour. The view was beautiful and the deer came almost up to the vehicle in the evening.
