About the site
Welcome! We are a family-run sanctuary located approximately 3 km from the Smarje-Sap/Skofljica motorway exit. Our sanctuary is situated on a hill; the road winds through the forest, is narrow and winding, but easily accessible with a trailer or motorhome and well-paved. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with a magnificent view of the valley. You are welcome to stay for one or more nights. We would be pleased to welcome you to our slightly secluded, renovated parking area, which overlooks the pastures. We have 6-7 pitches. Please contact us before your arrival, preferably by email (iris.lavric@gmail.com), to ensure we have space for you. Our non-profit charity gratefully accepts donations to support our animals. Feeding our many rescued animals for a day costs approximately €25. We offer a guided tour of the sanctuary daily, except on weekends, at 10:30 am. Access to showers, toilets, water, and electricity is available at all times. The washing machine can be used on request for €3 per load. You are welcome to have a campfire using leftover wood from the forest or your own wood. Your dog must be kept in your campervan or on a leash at all times and is not allowed on the property outside the parking area. Please do not prepare or consume meat or fish on our property! Site rules
Dogs must be kept on a leash and ONLY on the campsite or in the forest. Dogs are NOT allowed on the farm! Please do not prepare or consume meat or fish. No loud parties, excessive alcohol consumption, or getting drunk. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the trash, NOT on the ground!

We stayed 2 nights and would recommend it. It’s a great location to see many places in Slovenia. We had access to electricity, a place to wash your dishes, clean toilet and clean shower with hot water. To top it all you are in a family rehabilitation farm surrounded by animals given very special care. Your stay helps contribute to the care of the animals. Lastly if asked nicely you will also be given tips to visit the country.

What a beautiful place 🫶🏽 Great people who respect nature and animals. The site is next to the meadows with great restrooms and showers. The view around the farm is magnificent! We had a great time and would love to come back. Thank you!

I felt very comfortable here; the place is absolutely idyllic. The hosts are very warm and friendly people who not only care for the animals but also give them a sense of security they've never experienced before. They also enjoy sharing their philosophy and knowledge with their guests, so you can learn a lot. I also found the other guests very pleasant. ☺️

Great place. The campsite is very well-equipped, with a shower and a composting toilet. Electricity is available right there. Most importantly, the animals are there: the cows wander around the enclosure, the geese honk excitedly, and a chicken came to our car in the morning, which made the kids very happy. A fantastic place for families. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather and couldn't go on any long hikes, but we'd like to come back and stay longer than one night. It's a great place for the kids.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
