About the site
On the edge of the farm with views of nature and the sunset. Southwest facing. Bordering agricultural land with no traffic. Hare, deer, partridge, and pheasant in the neighborhood. Free choice of pitch, not crowded. Electricity, fresh water, and disposal of gray and black water possible on site. Rural, village-like, 130 inhabitants, yet very central. Bread roll service is offered. Shopping facilities 5 km away, heated swimming pools in Büchen, Geesthacht, and Lauenburg. Beautiful nature-oriented paths for walking the dog. Schwarzenbek and Büchen, with all local doctors. Train connections to Hamburg (39 km), Lübeck (50 km), Lüneburg (34 km), Schwerin (60 km), Baltic Sea-Travemünde (58 km), with Lübeck Bay, Timmendorf, Scharbeutz (1 hour), Grömitz (80 minutes), Fehmarn (1.5 hours). Great cycling routes to the Elbe, 14km, Elbe Lübeck Canal 6km with routes to Lauenburg, Mölln and Ratzeburg. The Schaalsee region with the biosphere reserve is 30 minutes by car. Bicycles are transported by train, no need to search for a parking space in Hamburg. The site is also well suited for travelers to Denmark, Sweden or the North Sea region. Hiking trails in fields and forests right on the doorstep. Lakes and a public swimming pool are nearby. The A1 Hamburg-Lübeck motorway is 25km away, the A24 is 15km away, the A25 is 15km away and the A20 is 45km away.

We were looking for a quiet and idyllic campsite – and found just that! We were able to enjoy a stunning sunset on the meadow, which made our stay truly special. Although Vodafone's cell phone reception was weak, this allowed us to enjoy the peace and quiet even more, without any distractions. The surroundings were perfect for walks with our four-legged friend – spacious and very relaxing. Unfortunately, the electrical hookup wasn't clearly signposted, and Wi-Fi wasn't available during our stay. The approach to the campsite was well signposted, so we found it easily. Overall, a wonderful place to simply unwind and enjoy nature!

At Hans Jörg's everything is as promised: easy arrival, lots of nature and peace. Enjoy the sunset in the evening and in the morning the only noises are from the cows next door, but they are not a problem. We're new to caravanning and felt incredibly comfortable. It's a beautiful, quiet spot with a view of fields and cow pastures, including a calve. ☺️ Everything was very friendly and uncomplicated! Our dog also felt right at home. We're already looking forward to our next overnight stay there!
