About the site
Welcome to the Birkenhof farm in the beautiful Vogelsberg region. We are delighted to welcome you to our beautiful village of Willofs, surrounded by forest. At Birkenhof, cats, some cattle and pigs, as well as chickens have found a home. You are welcome to bring your horses! :) They can graze right next to the camper in our beautiful orchard. This service, like the following ones, can be added for a small additional fee. * Beer garden set, tent or large parasol The Vogelsberg region offers first-class hiking trails and leisure activities for the whole family! The castle town of Schlitz, only 8km away, invites you to stroll around. A children's playground is within walking distance. Wir haben hier als zwischenstopp für eine Nacht gestanden. Trotz der späten Ankunft ist alles glatt gelaufen. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir uns etwas beobachtet gefühlt, was allerdings nur an den umliegenden Häusern gelegen hat.

Schöner Platz, wenn ich denn richtig gestanden habe 😉 Die Kommunikation war nicht so einfach (auf Nachricht zunächst keine Antwort), beim ersten erfolglosen Anruf erfolgte aber umgehend ein sehr freundlicher Rückruf. Wasser hatte ich glücklicherweise im Kanister dabei. Mobile Daten waren fast nicht da.

Schöner, ruhiger Platz, perfekt für die Durchreise. Vernünftiges Telekom-Netz zum Arbeiten und schöne Umgebung für eine ausgiebige Feierabendrunde. 😊

Nach anfänglichen Anlaufschwierigkeiten, da wir den ursprünglichen Stellplatz nicht nutzen konnten, wurde uns dann aber eine tolle Alternative geboten. Wir standen ganz alleine am Waldrand, mit tollem Blick und hatten eine schöne ruhige Nacht mit sehr neugierigem 🦊 Besuch. Sehr liebe und bemühte Gastgeber 🫶🏻
