We have a large meadow, located right next to the Eifel National Park and our chicken coop. A fantastic view and absolute peace and quiet. Our rooster will greet you with a friendly "kick-a-doodle-doo" every now and then, and the hens will of course let you know when they've laid an egg 😊 Here you can hike, cycle, visit the picturesque village of Monschau, Vogelsang and the Hellenthal bird of prey station, or take a bike tour or hike around the Olef reservoir. The secluded location means that we only offer this meadow for one pitch. However, if you would like to arrive with two campers, tents, or caravans and you know each other, that's no problem either. It's best to send a message beforehand. The meadow would be large enough to offer at least 4 pitches, but we don't want that so that you can find peace and quiet here. Levelling ramps are available so you can level your vehicle! Our meadow can be enclosed with a fence, so that your four-legged friends cannot run away or other dogs can enter the property. If your caravan is very large, please let us know in advance, as it could be a bit tricky to maneuver in. With a caravan mover, it wouldn't be a problem at all. You are welcome to help yourself to seasonal items from our raised bed in exchange for a donation, and eggs from happy hens can also be purchased when the girls start laying :-) If you bring your own wood, you can sit comfortably around the campfire in the evening. It's best to announce this beforehand, or discuss it with us, because if it's too dry or windy, we unfortunately can't offer it, as there's meadow and forest everywhere here. Anyone who wants to can also use their own gas grill. The mobile network is good enough to watch a movie via a USB stick. There is electricity, but no water, and the meadow has no paved road for driving in. You can drive in past the chicken picture and park at the back. There's another chicken picture hanging there.
