About the site
Hello, We live in Charente Limousine, not far from Confolens (16). We live in a small town at the exit of the village, at the end of a dead end. We have a second home as a neighbor that is rarely occupied, and our garden overlooks the horses' and sheep's fields. The environment is calm. Around our home there are many walks to do or historical visits: Oradour sur Glanne; the Cassinomagus of Chassenon, the cities of character such as Lesterp, Confolens and Brigueuil; fishing spots to discover, and the world music and dance festival in Confolens in August; walks in the Monts de Blond or the walk around the Butte du Frochet. All this around our home about 15 to 20 MIN drive maximum. To restock, a grocery store in Lesterp (5km), a butcher's and a bread depot in Brigueuil (5km) or the supermarkets in Saint Junien (87200) and Confolens (16500). We have set up a shower and a toilet in our basement which is dedicated to you, there is also a kitchen sink and a washing machine. For motorhomes, a wastewater disposal station is available 5 km away in the neighboring town of Brigueuil. We will be happy to welcome you.

Site rules
It is forbidden to leave your waste lying around on the ground, the trash cans are in the living space dedicated to you. Only the toilet paper provided should be put in the toilets, it works with a sani grinder. It is forbidden to make fires in our garden, smokers must put their cigarette butts in the trash after putting them out in water. The risk of fire is real. I am counting on you to respect our environment.

Super! We stayed at Karin‘s Place for 1 night and it has been very convenient. It’s a beautiful setup in the middle of nature. Very good place to stay with kids. Karine has own chicken and giftet us some eggs. Thank you 😊!! Very good shower and bathroom. We would come again!

I had a great stay at this really nice campsite. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming—they even gave me fresh eggs from their chickens, which was so nice! There was a small bathroom with a shower, which was very convenient, and I was also able to do my laundry on site. Water and electricity were available directly at the pitch, which made everything super comfortable. The place is quiet and super pretty, perfect for relaxing in the great outdoors.

Wow, I love it here. Fantastically beautiful place with enough choice of where to stand, whether in the shade or the sun. The cell phone reception is great and perfect for working. Karine is incredibly sweet and cheerful and showed me around. The bathroom in particular is amazing. What campers are offered here is first class!
