Playground, wine taverns and church in the village, unique, very livable, idyllic, village-like and quiet environment for families A3 motorway exit Pottendorf nearby, but still nice and quiet approx. 20 minutes to the city limits of Vienna (Southern Motorway/Tangente/Triester Straße) or SCS (Shopping City South) Speaking of shopping: if you appreciate less frequented pedestrian zones and shopping centers, you will find some in 15 minutes to the south in Wiener Neustadt (EKZ Neustadt Nord, Fischapark, Merkurcity,...) or in Eisenstadt 20 minutes (EZE, beautiful pedestrian zone,...), Baden or Sopron/Ödenburg You are in the middle of smaller towns/cities that offer a welcome change from the sometimes overrun hustle and bustle of Vienna: Baden, Bad Vöslau, Wiener Neustadt, Eisenstadt, and others offer indoor and outdoor pools (Therme Bad Vöslau, Bad Fischau, Thermalbad Baden, Aqua Nova), cinemas (Cineplexxx) and much more. Excursion destinations: Nature hikes and consistently flat bike tours possible right in the town, to Lake Haschendorf, into the Had, along the Fischa to the source, to Burgenland via the Leitha or to the Wiener Neustädter Canal by bike Neighbouring towns with wine culture, such as Tattendorf, Deutsch Brodersdorf and Leithaprodersdorf are also not far away. 10 minutes (car) or 20 minutes (by bike) to Lake Neufelder to the beautiful seaside resort. Schneeberg and Rax are within sight and can be reached a little faster and closer than from Vienna. Sopron/Ödenburg in Hungary is 30 minutes away. Public transport is available from the train station in Ebenfurth and Pottendorf (the Pottendorf line goes to Vienna, Sopron or Bratislava without changing trains) and the bus goes directly to Siegersdorf. Billaplus, Bipa, Eurospar, Penny, doctors, pharmacies, and a castle park with castle ruins in neighboring Pottendorf that is worth seeing.
