About the site
Hello everyone! I'm offering you a pitch on our private property near the Weser River in a very rural setting, but not far from the beautiful town of Minden. Bückeburg with its beautiful castle and Petershagen are also not far away. The site is well-suited for campers and caravans, where you'll park in the paved courtyard. Electricity and water connections are available, but there's no toilet. If you're planning a tent, a nice, relatively secluded lawn further back in the garden is ideal. The property also features a small, self-built beach bar with a small beach, where you can relax a bit, Jannik. You can also use a cozy covered area with a drinks fridge. The Weser River is about 200 meters away and offers opportunities for canoeing, walking, or picnicking. You can take lovely bike rides, for example, to the waterway junction, the Schachtschleuse lock in Minden, where passenger ships also depart, or to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial in Porta Westfalica. The Lahde swimming lake, with its beach and beach bar, is also only about 5 km away, ideal for swimming or stand-up paddling. There are many options, but you can also just enjoy the peace and quiet! Canoe rental SUP rental
It's possible to rent a two-person canoe, complete with life jackets, for a tour on the beautiful Weser River. It's within walking distance by canoe trailer. I can also rent a SUP with a seat (ideal for beginners), which you can use to go to the nearby swimming lake.

Wir waren für drei Nächte auf Birgits Stellplatz und haben uns hier sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Birgit ist eine nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die ihr privates Reich mit uns geteilt hat . Besonders der liebevoll gestaltete Garten, mit den unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten, hat uns super gefallen. Die Kommunikation mit Birgit war sehr unkompliziert. Die Lage ist super für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung, besonders entlang der Weser. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
