About the site
Holtriem is the green pearl on the North Sea and is centrally located on the East Frisian peninsula. The coast is about 20 minutes away by car or 45 minutes by bike. The towns of Aurich, Esens, and Norden are almost equidistant. The Holtriem hiking trail, approximately 48 km long, leads through the scenic landscapes of Holtriem and is very suitable for cycling and hiking. The nearby Ewiges Meer nature reserve is well worth a visit for nature lovers. Near the historic brickworks in Nenndorf, you'll find a private mini-campsite with three pitches. Here you can relax in the shade or use the time for various activities. Shopping facilities can be reached by car within 10 minutes. Electricity and water are available at the pitch. A very nice campsite, centrally located on a quiet courtyard. The large bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and shower. A fully equipped kitchen is available for use. In addition to the kitchen with a small dining area, there are additional outdoor areas with tables and chairs that can be used – even as a sheltered spot in bad weather. Our very friendly host, Arno, repeatedly checked in to see if everything was okay and was always there to help and advise. A definite thumbs up – the campsite is highly recommended, either as a stopover or for exploring the (coastal) area. Thank you Arno for your hospitality! Best regards, Kerstin & Oliver

Beautiful and extremely quiet site, friendly host. Spacious, very close to nature; in the morning, deer were seen in the adjacent meadow. We were here at the beginning of March – how idyllic it must be when everything around is green. A separate entrance leads to a small kitchen, fully equipped with dishes and cutlery, a sink, a stove, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a microwave. A toilet and washing facilities are also available and equally clean. When we are in the area again, Arno's garden will be a welcome stop again.
Everything was great.
Nice spot. Located away from major roads. Perfect for exploring central East Frisia.
