The Caldara di Manziana Tour is a natural area within the Bracciano-Martignano Regional Natural Park, in the municipality of Manziana, in the province of Rome. The territory of Manziana and Canale Monterano was dedicated by the Etruscans to the god of the underworld Manth (in Latin Mantus): from which the Silva Mantiana takes its name, a vast wooded area that dominates the hills west of Lake Bracciano from which the nearby Bosco Macchia Grande is the only surviving sector.
