YOU'VE come to the right place with us at the Urigen Bach in ◇ Walhalla ◇ IF: ♧ You want to be completely alone, UNOBSERVED by other campers! ♧ You want to have enough SPACE around you! ♧ You're in the mood for that VIKING / MIDDLE AGES feeling & attention to detail, but don't want to drive to Uppsala! ♧ Your furry friend is just part of the vacation! If you're already grinning or sharpening your axe and checking the mead stocks, we've probably done EVERYTHING right.... Just come to us, say "Mellon", and take a seat in the throne room.... ++++++++++++++++++++++ Our pitch is in a completely secluded location with no other campers. You're standing in Walhalla right next to our horse pasture with battle horses, and DIRECTLY on a rustic river in the heart of the historically Germanic Lipperland. We have the Externsteine, the Hermannsdenkmal, the Donoper Teiche and the "Real Germanic tribes". Walhalla doesn't offer a commercial pitch with 5* sanitary facilities, well-kept flat English lawns or geraniums in pots BUT it offers you the REAL MAGIC feeling.... That's exactly what you want! LET'S GO > A natural sandy beach on either side of the ship invites you to Kattegat romance and the cold, clear water creates a complexion that even Baldur would be jealous of! The large trees provide shade and with a bit of luck and silence you will be visited by the kingfisher, the nutria, our sand lizards, the pheasant Günni, the tame drake, fairies and dwarves. Take your time and enjoy the sight of the fireflies and listen to the grasshoppers! ☆☆ Beautiful decorations in Nordic style and lots of fairy lights in the old trees create a Viking feeling day and night ☆☆ The clatter of hooves, the snorting of horses, the singing of birds and the splashing of the nearby waterfall provide the final ultimatum of freedom in Valhalla. You can take a path from the pitch to sit directly by the waterfall and just relax. With a tent you can even camp up to 1m directly by the water. Our Walhalla has an area of a good 1/4 hectare, fenced in with wire. Our Viking boat, the Ragnarök, is SOLIDLY and DURABLY mounted on a tree stump, with a view over the stream and meadow it is the perfect sun deck and invites you to chill out or rob, murder and pillage.... With us you can enjoy peace and quiet and the idyll of the Shire, Walhalla or wherever you want to be. Noisy parties are not welcome here... The pitch can only be booked once, so you are completely ALONE, UNOBSERVED by other campers. Firewood for a normal small campfire in the small fire bowl can be taken from the firewood box. A tip is welcome. But we have our prancing pony... This is a small tip shop right on the site where we store cutlery, lighters, information about the site, sightseeing and also drinks, canned goods, tea, books and whatever else you forget. +++++++++++++++++++ Arrival FROM 3.30pm/Departure BY 11am +++++++++++++++++++ You should know: The Lippe regional train runs from time to time across from the site behind the stream, more or less audible and visible depending on the foliage. (Not at night) Walhalla is 3/4 hidden by a large slope and cannot be seen. We cannot and are not allowed to offer waste disposal or toilet disposal! You can borrow a dry toilet from us >>>BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR BAGS WITH YOU and dispose of them yourself.
