We are currently realizing our dream in the middle of nature in central Portugal and would like to share this beautiful piece of earth with you. If you are looking for a few quiet days in nature , you have come to the right place. Our property offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains , the Rio Zêzere and at night on a clear sky a breathtaking starry sky. If you get bored here and need more action , the region is also ideal for climbing , bouldering , hiking , fishing at the lake or a quad excursion. Visiting restaurants or browsing through the weekly market are of course also possible in the nearby village. We offer a pitch for vans / small campers and tent pitches with a great view over the Rio Zêzere. The tent sites are located on the lower terraces. That means a small descent is necessary. Our property has its own spring from which smaller water tanks could also be filled. After a short descent , you can also simply hop into the lake to refresh yourself , which is of course particularly valuable in the warm months (sturdy shoes are recommended). Please note: Our property is a bit off the hillside and does not have a normal tarred road (see pictures).

Atemberaubende Lage… Da wird man wirklich sprachlos, wenn man den See sieht, sowohl auf dem Weg zu dem Platz als auch vor Ort. Die Gastgeber sind superfreundlich, sprechen deutsch, englisch und auch noch weitere Sprachen (ich kam nicht dazu es auszuprobieren – ich war über deutsch happy). Man braucht auch kein SUV um hinzukommen, mein alter SLK hat es auch geschafft, sowohl runter als auch rauf. Dieser Platz ist etwas Besonderes - wenn ihr warmes Wasser und Dusche braucht, seid ihr hier falsch, falls ihr es nicht selbst on board habt – für alle anderen ist es hier das Paradies… Ruhe und Sternenhimmel, wie man ihn sonst nicht zu sehen bekommt, menschlicher Kontakt in genau richtigem Maß und die Badestelle ist in unter 10 Minuten zu erreichen (ich hab die Zeit eigentlich auf dem Weg nach oben gemessen, runter ist es also noch etwas schneller). Der See war eine regelrechte Ladestation für meinen inneren Akku, so viel Wasser, dass man nur für sich hat – das werde ich am meisten vermissen. Die Ausstattung (WC, frisches Wasser, Strom, Sitzgelegenheit) ist einfach, aber gepflegt und sauber. Zu den Zeltplätzen führen natürliche Steinstufen, mit z.B. einem Kinderwagen kommt man also nicht so gut hin, alle Anderen können es als ein Workout sehen :-) . Auf jeden Fall ein Ort, zu dem ich irgendwann unbedingt zurück will. Patrick, Fabienne, macht weiter so, es war toll 😊
