About the site
Welcome to our private campsite surrounded by nature! Enjoy absolute peace and relaxation on our idyllic campsite, surrounded by meadows, forests, and birdsong. Far away from mass tourism, you can enjoy your time out and unwind. Start your hike, bike ride, geocaching tour, or a walk in the countryside directly from the square. Simply arrive, unwind and enjoy nature! In the neighboring town you can go to the outdoor pool or enjoy delicious ice cream at the Venezia ice cream parlor. On selected weekends, the historic narrow-gauge railway/museum railway "Jan Harpstedt" also runs between Harpstedt and Delmenhorst. In Bassum, about 11 km away, there is the Petermoor Animal Park. Admission is free. You definitely need your own toilet. Grey and black water can be disposed of cheaply in Harpstedt, about 5 km away, near the outdoor swimming pool. You can dispose of waste for the yellow bin, residual waste, paper bin, and compost with us.

Site rules
Our approximately 4000 square meter property is fully fenced. Your dog is welcome to run off-leash after consultation. Of course, you'll be responsible for picking up any poop. Please make sure your dog doesn't dig holes. Please keep quiet after 9 p.m. on weekdays and after 11 p.m. on weekends to avoid disturbing the neighbors. (There are small children.)

A very beautiful spot in the middle of nature, right on the Way of St. James. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the designated spot because we got stuck in the softened ground after the recent heavy rains. Thanks to Katharina and her partner, we were able to free ourselves and spent the night in the driveway. They immediately ordered gravel to prevent this from happening again. However, an important note for wider motorhomes: the entrance is quite narrow!
Great communication and quick response to our last-minute request. Very quiet spot. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn't work very well, but we were able to watch four cute baby hedgehogs 😍 All in all, a cozy, quiet spot.

We had a very nice time here. The parking space is very nice, quiet and separate from the house. Electricity and fresh water supply are available. Our host was very nice and helpful. Our dog also felt very comfortable and the area is wonderful for long walks. We'd love to come back again. 😁

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
Regardless of the selected cancellation policy and the type of booking, the VanSite service fee will be retained in full for every cancellation.
