The spot on Roland's huge meadow is fantastic. We had the meadow completely to ourselves for the weekend, so we were able to fully enjoy the heavenly peace and quiet. And thanks to the trees on the property, we were fortunate enough to find plenty of shade despite the 30-degree Celsius daytime temperatures. The access to the mill is very easy and the meadow is also easily accessible for larger motorhomes. It's a perfect starting point for cycling to Strasbourg (15km one way and continuous cycle paths). Or, if you prefer, you can also drive to the Black Forest and reach, for example, the famous Mummelsee lake within 45 minutes. If you plan to stay longer, you will also find a supply and disposal station for motorhomes in Freistett (10 minutes away). We can definitely recommend Roland's place. Thank you for providing such little oases of peace for us campers.

Very nice place, lots of opportunities to stand on the meadow, very quiet, lots of trees and an adjacent ship pasture with stables that you can visit (just look, don't enter or pet the animals if you don't want me to) and of course the animals make noise but really very little (I didn't get anything until around 8:00 a.m.) you can hear a rooster in the distance, a real country experience. Really my first place at VanSoite. I am totally happy with the owner of the place, he is very nice and tells you where it is better to stand based on the condition of the meadow/pitch, soggy or not. I think I will make use of my annual pass and the opportunity to be here and plan to use the maximum 7. I am looking forward to coming again with my dog as he will love it here. It is a very large meadow. Of course the dog has to listen or be on a leash otherwise the sharp-edged animals will be disturbed like the owner. From 10:30 p.m. the area is completely dark and you can observe the stars 🥰. Cars are often the residents, and every now and then they drive by, but very slowly and quietly, which is also appropriate. On Saturdays, there are walkers, but quietly 😊. Overall, a very, very nice place to stand alone. No water, electricity, not so much mobile reception, but there is some. O2 is okay, but the other providers work better since it's in the countryside, not an urban area. But that doesn't bother me personally 😁 That's why I'm out in the countryside, to switch off, and here you can definitely do that with the morning sun ☀️ included 🌄 Kind regards from Leitersheim 👋

Simply a beautiful spot. If you're looking for peace and quiet, yet still want to be close to the hustle and bustle of the city (Strasbourg), this is the place for you. Birdsong, very rarely a car, otherwise absolute silence. Roland is a very friendly host. The lawn was freshly mown, and we were given a very spacious area. A shady spot under the trees for a table and chairs, and otherwise we were free to let off steam. Roland gave us tips on where, what, how to find things, and what else we might discover. We will definitely come back again.

After some initial communication difficulties, we decided to go to Roland's on a whim. He welcomed us warmly and apologized sincerely, which is another reason he gives us 5 stars! The pitch is very quiet and beautiful in Roland's garden, there is a fire bowl and we were also offered firewood :) The sheep are super cute and never bothered us with their noise. A rooster crows now and then, but that didn't stop us from sleeping in. The location of the campsite is perfect for day trips to Strasbourg; just drive about 13 minutes to the train station in Kehl and hop on the train. :) Thank you Roland for the great spot and your warm manner! We will definitely come again 😊
