About the site

🌿 Welcome to Domaine Saint-Antonin 3 km from the Provençal village of Jouques, our family estate, founded in 1633, opens the doors to 100 hectares of unspoiled nature: clearings, pine forests, forests, all nestled in the heart of the Grand Site Sainte-Victoire. 🐾 Here, we camp in the heart of nature, to the rhythm of the cicadas and under the protection of an LPO refuge. No shooting, lots of bees, a few goats, and a pig: life is sweet, free, and respectful of all living things. At the Domaine, harmony with nature is paramount, thanks to the various agricultural activities practiced on site, such as market gardening and beekeeping. These initiatives underscore our commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism. ⛺ Our locations are simple and natural, far from the beaten track, perfect for lovers of peace and quiet, families, hikers or solitary people in search of authenticity. 🚶‍♀️ From the Domaine, explore the Concors massif, climb up to the Notre-Dame de la Roque chapel or stroll through the Jouques market on Sunday mornings. For hiking and cycling enthusiasts, the area offers direct access to exceptional trails. The Peyrolles hiking trail, with its remains of the Verdon Canal and the Jas du Ligoures, is an invitation to explore the region's hidden beauties. Similarly, the bike route to the Terme de Judas via the Jas de Ligoures promises breathtaking views and a pleasant challenge for all levels. 📆 Open all year round, 7 days a week. 🌻 Here, no imposed services, just a magical, raw and welcoming setting.

Very beautiful, remote place. We just didn't know where to find electricity. But if you're self-sufficient, that's not a problem.

Beautiful spot with a huge area. You can camp quietly and undisturbed in the middle of nature. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to contact the owner, either by phone or text, to find out exactly where camping is permitted. A brief description of the available spots would be helpful. :)

So here's an explanation of the parking space, since some people don't seem to quite understand how it works xD The owner doesn't live here, but in Paris. This is like his vacation home. The animals are fed by someone else. So if you arrive and no one is there, it's not that unusual. You then have to pass the barrier, follow the path past the pig and the goats, turn right around the bend, and enter the pine forest. On the left is a solar panel. That's where the parking space is. If you scan the QR codes, you'll be taken to a website with various hiking trails and information about the place. The place actually delivers everything it promises: electricity, peace and quiet, a fire pit and space. Please don't come with a €500,000 camper van that's 4 meters high and 10 meters long, or a vehicle that's not self-sufficient, if you plan to stay longer than one night. We liked it, and it's about an hour's drive to Marseille, where there's a parking garage for campers (€10/4 hours), so it's a great opportunity to explore the city. We would come back :)

A beautiful pitch in the middle of the forest. I was alone here and it was nice and quiet. Mathieu speaks very good English 👍 Thank you.
