About the site
Our two pitches are located on our farm, just 3km from the North Sea on the Butjadingen peninsula. Each pitch has its own bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and washbasin. Our pitches are paved, have a terrace and electricity at the pitch. There is a large garden with lots of play equipment, as well as plenty of seating and lounging options. Both young and old can participate in feeding and milking. There are shopping facilities 3km away. Since we live here on the North Sea coast, the local council levies a tourist tax of €3.20 per night for children aged 13 and over, and €1.95 per night for children aged 3 and under. You pay this tourist tax to us in cash on the day of arrival, and we will print out your visitor's cards. We have a winter break from October 31st to March 31st. Bookings are only possible for stays of 3 nights or more.

Ein schönes, wenn auch regenreiches Wochenende bei Dirk und Melanie verbracht. Für unseren Enkel war es ein Erlebnis, bei der Fütterung der Kühe, Kälber und Hühner nicht nur zuzuschauen, sondern auch mit zu füttern. Wir sagen Dankeschön für die ausführliche Erklärung beim Melken der Kühe und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
Es waren zwei schöne Nächte in denen wir die Landidylle und Ruhe sehr genossen haben. Die Umgebung konnten wir mit den vom Hof geliehenen Fahrrädern ein wenig erkunden. Abends konnten wir noch ein wenig tiefer ins Landleben eintauchen und bei der Fütterung der Kälber mithelfen. Vor allem unsere kleine Tochter hatte viel Spaß auf dem tollen Spielplatz. Gerne wieder.
Wir hatten einen kurzen aber sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Der Platz ist sehr ruhig, sehr nette Gastgeber und es hat schon eine Qualität sein eigenes Bad zu haben. Die Umgebung war zum Fahrrad fahren ideal für uns und die Tipps unserer Gastgeberin waren Volltreffer. Ich kann den Platz nur weiter empfehlen.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
Regardless of the selected cancellation policy and the type of booking, the VanSite service fee will be retained in full for every cancellation.
