About the site
Directly on the farm at 1400 m or on the alpine pasture at 1800 m. Water, electricity, toilets, and showers are available on the farm. The preferred spot is, of course, on the alpine pasture. Alpine camping with wonderful views of the Hohe Tauern mountains and the Grossglockner. Sunny location in the Mölltal Valley, Carinthia. Access to the alpine pasture pitch is via a wide, winding gravel road. Four-wheel drive is not required, but you should be able to drive. ;) The pitch has a stone grill, fire pit, fish pond, seating, toilet, and fresh spring water. Exceptional, quiet campsite high up at 1,800 meters. Stefan is a very sociable host, who even offers to drive the camper the last few meters up. (The approach via switchbacks, the last few kilometers on gravel road, was no problem with our 6-meter van.) Two very friendly dogs on site. We'd love to come back!

Hello Stefan, Awesome spot! We had great weather and really enjoyed our two days here! You took such wonderful care of us. The barbecue and campfire at sunset topped it all off. And then the starry sky in all its glory. 🤩 I've rarely seen the Milky Way so clearly. On Sunday we were allowed to VOLUNTARILY help with haymaking, which we really enjoyed. What an experience. Oh yes, the approach: an experience in itself. With heavy vehicles, it might be tricky. But Stefan would have helped if we hadn't been able to go any further. Very attentive to his guests and takes care of them wherever necessary! The time was way too short, and we'll keep you in our favorites list! 😎 Thank you and see you next time! Markus

They say repeats are never as good as the first time... But that's not true for Stefan at the Zenzeralm! 😉 Last year it was already one of the most beautiful campsites for us – and that's why we set out on the journey again this year. This time, we even got to meet family and friends and were warmly welcomed upon arrival, as if we had long since become part of the family. It was an extraordinary, consistently warm, and simply wonderful time for us, full of joy, wonderful moments, and wonderful people that we will never forget! THANK YOU to all of you! It's clear to us that we'll try to come back every year.

Very nice place, very cozy. We weren't so lucky with the weather at first; we arrived in the rain. Stefan welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. He even let us warm up in his hut. That was really nice of him. Toilet was always clean. The view was breathtaking, and the peace and quiet was wonderful. The weather then took a turn for the better for us. ☀️😊
