About the site
The site is a meadow right next to a mountain stream, with a barbecue hut and fire pit! It is far enough away from the road that the 6:00 rush hour traffic can hardly be heard and does not wake the campers from their sleep! There are tall deciduous trees all around the site, which provide pleasant shade. The mountain stream 'Wilde Gera' provides further cooling, which lets a refreshing breeze blow over the site! You can go on short walks or hikes. Enjoy nature, eat real country eggs, collect herbs or try goat's milk. If you wish, there are fresh rolls every day, even on Sundays! Bus and train are close by, and there are shops in the town 2 km away. When you arrive, just park and I will come to you, as I am always there. The parking rules are posted in the barbecue hut! Free access via a meadow path with a small sign on the road!

Als Durchreisende war der Platz perfekt. Wer autark stehen kann, ist bei Ecki gut aufgehoben. Strom ist aber möglich. Ecki ist ein sehr aufmerksamer freundlicher Gastgeber. Er freut sich wenn die Gäste zufrieden sind.
Der Zielort ist gut zu finde. Das Gelände ist für jede Art Fahrzeug problemlos befahrbar. Besitzer war nach Ankunft 5 Minuten später da und man hat den Stellplatz ausgesucht. Freundlicher Kontakt, wohnt in der Nähe und ist für Fragen schnell erreichbar, schaut auch ab und an am Platz vorbei. Der Platz selbstbesteht aus Wiese , drum herum viele hohe Bäume die Schatten spenden, aber auch eine Fläche in der Mitte welche genug Sonne bietet. Einseitig geht eine sehr wenig befahrene Straße am Grundstück entlang, auf der anderen Seite ist Wald und ein kleiner Bach, bestens für Hunde geeignet. Den verkehrt hört man nicht, aber dennoch 1 Stern Abzug, weil in hörbarer Nähe alle knappe Stunde ein Zug vorbei fährt und hupt, diesmal hört man leider Grade in der früh doch sehr deutlich. Wer mit dem Zug am Morgen klar kommt, dem ist der Platz wärmstens zu empfehlen 👍🏻 Vielen Dank das sie diesen Stellplatz ermöglichen.

Wir würden sehr herzlich Empfangen. Ecki hat einen sehr schönen Stellplatz. Für uns war Perfekt um eine Wanderung zu unternehmen und uns Arnstadt anzugucken. In der Nähe befinden sich sowohl der Bahnhof als auch eine Bushaltestelle. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
