Welcome to Flattnitz! Experience the peace and beauty of our Gurktal Alps at an altitude of 1400 meters. Our 4 pitches offer breathtaking views of the alpine pastures from where you can embark on wonderful hikes. Our pitches: * 4 parking spaces in a quiet and idyllic location * All pitches have their own electricity connection * 3 pitches also have their own fresh water connection * shared garden with a swimming pool, swing, trampoline and outdoor barbecue area. Due to the lack of water, we unfortunately do not have a swimming pool this year. However, there are 3 different natural swimming areas within a 20-minute drive. Equipment: * Bathroom with underfloor heating and sink in the main house (shower and toilet on the ground floor) * Blackwater disposal via cassette (greywater disposal not possible) * Electricity connection €0.85/kWh For our animal friends: Dogs are welcome, but must get along with our two dogs and free-range chickens. * Cows and calves on the neighboring meadow in summer Service: * Bread roll service, fresh bread rolls daily * "Flattnitz Eck" - our small snack bar with, among other things, freshly prepared pizzas and ribs * Washing machine We look forward to your visit! We had our first stop at Peet and Giny's on our five-week trip through Europe with two small children, and it couldn't have started better or more beautifully. The two are incredibly warm, helpful, and make you feel right at home, as if you were visiting family. The campsite is in a quiet location, very clean, and we were grateful for the shower :) Otherwise, you can go for a wonderful hike or just a walk from there! We would come back anytime and can only recommend them both😘☺️

Very nice and quiet campsite in the middle of the Gurktal Alps. Giny and Peter gave us a very warm welcome and when a storm came along a little later, they even offered us one of their holiday apartments for the night. In addition to the small menu with pizza and asparagus ribs, there was also an information folder with all the important details, such as the nearest doctor, supermarket, restaurant, etc. We were also provided with a private bathroom, which was used only by us during our stay. In conclusion, we would say that it felt like visiting friends rather than just enjoying a camping stay in a beautiful location, so we would definitely say "we'd be happy to come back".
An all-round lovely stay. Ging and Peet are very nice, open-minded people who have a solution to every problem. They even make it possible to do laundry despite a broken washing machine. Since we were the only vanside guests, we had a private bathroom just for us and they even thought of a towel, pure camper luxury. My two-year-old also had a blast in the little children's paradise with its trampoline, sandpit, and swing. He was allowed to go into the chicken coop and let the rabbits out – a huge thank you to Giny again. I can't even begin to rave about the food delivered to our campsite. Delicious ribs with various sauces and salad, a perfect camper dinner. Thanks to free Wi-Fi, we were even able to watch a movie under the gazebo. Now that’s what I call a worry-free package for campers.
A very warm welcome, a superbly idyllic spot, and very friendly hosts. Highly recommended!
