About the site

In our spacious garden directly at the winery we offer up to 3 parking spaces on a meadow. The access there is partially paved. You can enjoy wine tastings and local delicacies directly from the winemaker. The Straußwirtschaft is open in May and June on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. You can find further events in our winery on our homepage: winery-martin.com Please contact me in advance if you would like to have a little wine tasting or want to know more about the work at the winery. There are cozy seating areas in the garden to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening under the starry sky. :) Electricity connection is available in the garden , water connection and guest toilets are in the courtyard of the winery. Cycling and hiking trails are nearby , the vineyards and a supermarket with a bakery can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. There is also a pizzaria , ice cream parlor and restaurant within 500m. For all culture fans , our local train station offers the option of a direct connection to Mainz , Bingen or Alzey.

Schöner Stellplatz bei sehr lieben, freundlichen & unkomplizierten Gastgebern! Die "Gartenwiese" befindet sich an einem naturbelassenen Garten mit Frosch-Teich und einem kleinen Hahn-/Hühnerstall und auf dem eingezäunten Weingut-Gelände zwischen den Gebäuden und Feldern/Ackerland. Der Untergrund ist leicht schräg, aber mit Auffahrkeilen gut auszugleichen. Wir durften uns unseren Platz auf der überwiegend in der Sonne befindlichen Wiese aussuchen. Wir haben uns so gestellt, dass unser Kastenwagen ab nachmittags im Schatten der Bäume stand und waren bei Temperaturen von teilweise über 30 °C sehr dankbar dafür. Das Weingut befindet sich in Autobahnnähe und auch in der Flugschneise des Flughafens, daher sind teilweise Straßen- & Fluggeräusche zu hören. Außerdem wird natürlich auf dem Weingut gearbeitet, sodass teilweise auch mal Arbeitsfahrzeuge am Stellplatz vorbeifahren oder auch mal kurz "in der schönen Aussicht auf den Garten" geparkt werden. Die Geräuschkulisse hat uns nicht gestört, aber ich würde die Lage des Platzes eher als "ruhig" und nicht als "sehr ruhig" bezeichnen. Sehr leckere Weine zu fairen Preisen! Wir durften eine Weinprobe mitmachen und haben diese sehr genossen! Sehr gute Kommunikation im Vorfeld und vor Ort! Sehr saubere Toiletten (im Hof des Weingutes, ca. 100 m vom Platz entfernt)! Wir wurden von Familie M. herzlich empfangen, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne nochmal wieder!

We felt very comfortable. The welcome was uncomplicated and warm and our hosts were very helpful. The toilet was pretty clean. A little conversation was always in it and the wine is really delicious. We were the only guests so it was wonderfully quiet. We can only recommend the place and would come back. Thank you for everything.

The booking was uncomplicated and the contact with Franziska was quick and totally friendly! We were warmly welcomed and instructed. You stand in the garden behind the winery with a view of the garden. The toilets can be reached quickly via the barn. We were lucky and the Straußwirtschaft was open. Franziska reserved a table for us so we could comfortably end the evening in the courtyard. The hospitality was really great and made with love. If our way leads us via Rheinhessen again, we will definitely drive by again - also to get wine again 😉

Our first booking and experience through VanSite, what can I say? Perfect! Problem and stress free :-) arrived everything was clarified. Can highly recommend space & winery, mega hospitality !! I spent a relaxing night at Franziska's winery. It is in a small village surrounded by vineyards. You stand at Franziska's in the middle of the garden behind the winery building. So it is very quiet and idyllic. I felt very good. Thanks!
