About the site
The Drögemühle is an old watermill in the headwaters of the Milde River. It's surrounded by meadows where Scottish Highland cattle graze. The entire farm is situated right next to the forest. The nearest neighboring mill, the Hoppenmühle, is about 800 meters downstream, and the nearest villages are about 2 kilometers away. My wife and I booked for one night at very short notice. Everything went smoothly nonetheless. The host was very friendly. The place is very quiet and clean. I would gladly book there again if the opportunity arises.

It's a fantastic place, and the hosts are very warm and friendly. We were able to choose one of the campsites, had a lovely hike in the area, and spent a peaceful and wonderful night listening to the rippling water. To top it all off, we enjoyed a magnificent sunset. The following morning, with a lovely breakfast at sunrise, was equally wonderful. We'd love to come back. Thanks for the campsite.
