Beautiful, quiet spot, surrounded by greenery. A bit difficult to find. The host immediately provided directions over the phone.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you - a wonderful spot, water available if needed, Lake Ammersee can be reached by bike within half an hour - and there are plenty of hiking opportunities.

Although it was a beautiful spot, we were very surprised when we received a morning visit from the gamekeeper. He explained to us that this spot is a protected landscape area and camping is completely prohibited, no matter how self-sufficient you are. Designated access to the site was via a forestry and agricultural path with a sign. We went through VanSite specifically to avoid this problem.
