Welcome to the Teutoburg Forest We have a place half surrounded by forest, right on the mountain. You can stand almost invisibly and enjoy the time out at 🔥 in the evening. In terms of hiking, there are the Externsteine/Herrmansdenkmal/Bird Park/Falkenburg and much more to discover. Signposted circular hiking trails right on site. Germany's largest eagle observatory is in the immediate vicinity. REWE/bakery/tobacconists are about 2 km away in the neighboring town. There is also a Sparkasse ATM. Ein traumhafter Platz! Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit hier, wenn auch nur für eine Nacht. Persönliches Highlight war das Lagerfeuer am Abend inklusive Holz sammeln im angrenzenden Wald. Nach dem sehr netten Empfang von Sebastian und seiner Frau, waren wir im Hinterland ganz für uns. Ideal für Ruhesuchende und Abenteurer. Von dem Platz aus kann man wunderbar durch den Wald spazieren und die Burgruine in der Nähe ist auch einen Besuch wert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne nochmal wieder, dann auch länger, das würden wir aufgrund der Anzahl an tollen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung grundsätzlich auch empfehlen.

Schön abgelegen mit Ausblick ins Tal. Feuerstelle mit Sitzgelegenheit und angrenzendem Wäldchen. Fanden unsere Kids besonders toll, aufstehen und gleich ab ins Grün. 😅 Wir kommen definitiv mal wieder vorbei.
